In this day and age of heated political rhetoric, pundits must be careful of Godwin’s Law. The unofficial rule is that the longer a heated political discussion goes on, the more inevitable it becomes that someone will draw a comparison to Hitler and/or Nazism as a whole. It’s often regarded as a sign of desperation.

Hillary just violated Godwin’s Law.

To be clear, there is a time and place for Nazi comparisons. After all, the goal of the world is to never forget the lessons taught and it’s appropriate to reference the dangers of Nazism when, in fact, the analogy fits.

However, unfortunately, too often the tragedy of the Holocaust is hijacked under flimsy pretenses. As Hillary invokes the Holocaust to advance her rhetoric, it seems clear that her verbal Hail Mary pass is a sign of desperation.

At an event in Minneapolis, Clinton slammed Donald Trump’s do-something approach to remedying illegal immigration and accused the 2016 Republican frontrunner of wanting to “round up” illegals to put them in “boxcars.”

You know, like how the Nazis did to Jews and other so-called “undesirables” to ship them off to concentration camps.

When a reporter asked, “How do you plan on dealing with 11 million undocumented immigrants in the U.S.?” Clinton responded,

Well, I’m glad you asked me that, because some on the other side who are already advocating to deport 11, 12 million people…

I find it the height of irony that a party which espouses small government would want to unleash a massive government effort, which might include national guard and others, to go and literally pull people out of their homes and their workplaces, round them up and, I don’t know, put them in buses or boxcars, in order to take them across the border.

I find that absurd but appalling. And that’s why I support comprehensive immigration reform.

First, the question is wrong. There are not “undocumented” immigrants in the U.S. They did not come here legally and have simply lost their documents showing as such. They are here illegally. They are criminals and they are “illegal immigrants.”

Further, while we do not have a reliable number of illegals in the U.S., the unofficial number has lingered around 11-12 million for two decades. Have these people not had children in the past two decades? Have not more come to the U.S.? Any who suggest that merely 11 million illegals reside within the U.S. is simply not being intellectually honest.

Hillary’s answer is insulting. Deportation of trespassers in a country where they have no legal right to be is not the same thing as hauling-off legal citizens to exterminate them in camps. Clinton and other anti-American candidates might balk at Trump’s immigration plan, but the fact remains that it is no species of radicalism to advocate following the laws; instead, it is a species of patriotism.

No. Hillary would advocate the American way of using predator drones.

John Howard says: There are 4 schools of economics:
Marxism: steal everything
Keynesianism: steal by counterfeiting whenever needed
Chicago school (Milton Friedman): steal by counterfeiting at a steady, predictable rate
Austrians: don't steal

Democrats don't mind war as long as they can have big government. Republicans don't mind big government as long as they can have war.
