39-year-old Ludmya Bourdeau "Mia" Love, a Haitian-American politician representing Utah's 4th congressional district, promised to "End Foreign Military Financing" when she was sworn in to office this past January. But since then, Love has visited Israel and posted several revealing tweets and press releases, showing where her true loyalties lie. "I stand with Israel as both a citizen and as a member of Congress," Love insists.
Our January 6 article Nation's First Black Republican Congresswoman Swears In, Promises to "End Foreign Military Financing" noted "On her official house website, her 'Foreign Affairs' page consists only of one photo of a bunch of flags and text which reads "For more information concerning work and views related to Foreign Affairs, please contact our office." I also pointed out that Love was supported by the likes of Michele Bachmann and Mitt Romney, which did not bode well for her prospects as an alleged 'limited government conservative.'
