Listen to the 12/22/05 show - 3rd hour, 10 mins in

Click on the attachment and listen to the 18-minute segment of The Power Hour Show. The caller, Steve, comes on at the 10-minute / 15-second mark and continues to the 27-minute / 30-second mark.

I follow the Steelers closely. On 12/22/05 they were about as dead as a team could be as far as the Super Bowl is concerned. In fact, the Steelers had to win their last game to be assured a spot in the playoffs. Two days later, the Steelers won their last game of the season, against Cleveland, by a score of 35-0. Now they are one win away from going to the Super Bowl. This has relevance to what Steve says during that 18-minute segment on The Power Hour. This topic seems out-of-context on a show that discusses politics, the New World Order, etc. Just listen to the show and consider Vanderjact of the Colts missing that 46-yard field goal, on his home field, in an indoor stadium, to tie the game, at the end, by a guy who has the best field-goal percentage in history, but who missed the field goal by 20+ yards to the right, though he was 12-for-12 at that distance during the season. All of this has relevance to the Bird Flu, 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, and Israel giving land back to the Palestinians. Listen for yourself.

Guess the Broncos are screwed, eh? Saves me the trouble of watching...now I can get some other things done.

Big time. The Broncos are dead meat.

Jethro, let's keep in mind that Steve did not specify that the Steelers were necessarily going to win THIS YEAR. He just said that a Steeler's win would precede the Bird Flu Pandemic and insinuated that this would precede martial law. He also did not say necessarily that the Bird Flu Pandemic would occur in the same year as the Steeler's win. He just gave the order of events, or the events that would need to occur prior to the Bird Flu Pandemic

It is possible that the Steelers could lose this year, but win in a subsequent year. However, this year does seem like the best year for it to occur for several reasons: Rothlisberger is the quarterback (could he be jewish or a zionist?); the Iran Oil Bourse coming on 3/23/06; the continuing collapse of the dollar; madmen running the government; etc., etc.

We shall see.

Right you are, but the circumstances that have gotten the Steelers to this point are odd, to say the least. Lets put it this way. If they win today, they will be favored in the SB on 2/5/06 IMO. A victory in the SB then places the total of these events beyond calculation.

Modern version of The Birds & The Bees

Little boy goes to his father and asks "Daddy, how was I born?"

The father answers: "Well, son, I guess one day you will need to find out anyway! Your Mom and I first got together in a chat room on Yahoo. Then I set up a date via e-mail with your Mom and we met at a cyber-cafe. We sneaked into a secluded room, where your mother agreed to accept a download from my hard drive. As soon as I was ready to upload, we disc! overed that neither one of us had used a firewall, and since it was too late to hit the delete button, nine months later a blessed little Pop-Up appeared and said: You've Got Male!

back on 12/22 a caller said that the NWO was going to make sure Pittsburgh would win super bowl and then a police state would happen right away. I like winners. I was for Indianapolis, now I'm for Pittsburgh.

Tom, so what's the problem here? We already knew that the NWO arranged (1) 9/11, (2) Katrina, (3) the bird-turd flu, (4) for Israel to give some land back to the Palestinians, and (5) that they are coming with the Martial Law / Police State.

So the only thing we didn't know was - who was going to win the Super Bowl. Now we know. What's the big deal?

How often does Jake Plummber have 2 fumbles and 2 interceptions in one game? I smell a rat.

4th & 10; 6 minutes left in the 4th quarter; down by 10 points; going for the first down ON YOUR OWN 20. I smell an idiot.

It looked like he was playing down the clock - he should have been throwing bombs at that point and he was either going for short yardage or running the ball himself. My boyfriend and I were just watching it and thinking what a bonehead....but..maybe not.

I'll say one thing...the officiating in this game is definitely slanted in the favor of the Steelers. This is weird.

Here's another thought I had.

The death of Coach Dungy's son was exquisitely timed. Was it really a suicide? Or a message to Dungy that he had better throw his game with Pittsburgh or else?

Was it too part of the demonstration of control the Power Hour caller speaks of?

He hung himself, while his girlfriend took a 10 minute walk and his roommate was asleep in the other room.

That doesn't sound like an average suicide, whatever that is.

Here's something on the Vegas odds:

http://www.heraldnet.com/stories/06/02/03/100spo_sleeper001.cfm

It took the Las Vegas oddsmakers roughly 12 seconds after the Seahawks blew out the Carolina Panthers for the NFC title to install the Pittsburgh Steelers as three- to four-point favorites in Super Bowl XL.

So the AFC's sixth seed is favored over the NFC's top seed.

The way I see what happened....

If the Seahawks don't get called for holding, they have the ball on the 1.5 yard line 1st and goal. At a minimum the game is 14-13 and maybe 14-17 Seahawks are winning. That was the play of the game. It turns out that Hasselback throws an interception 2 plays later (with another bad call giving Pitt 15 yards) and go onto score a TD.
