Listen to the 12/22/05 show - 3rd hour, 10 mins in

Click on the attachment and listen to the 18-minute segment of The Power Hour Show. The caller, Steve, comes on at the 10-minute / 15-second mark and continues to the 27-minute / 30-second mark.

I follow the Steelers closely. On 12/22/05 they were about as dead as a team could be as far as the Super Bowl is concerned. In fact, the Steelers had to win their last game to be assured a spot in the playoffs. Two days later, the Steelers won their last game of the season, against Cleveland, by a score of 35-0. Now they are one win away from going to the Super Bowl. This has relevance to what Steve says during that 18-minute segment on The Power Hour. This topic seems out-of-context on a show that discusses politics, the New World Order, etc. Just listen to the show and consider Vanderjact of the Colts missing that 46-yard field goal, on his home field, in an indoor stadium, to tie the game, at the end, by a guy who has the best field-goal percentage in history, but who missed the field goal by 20+ yards to the right, though he was 12-for-12 at that distance during the season. All of this has relevance to the Bird Flu, 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, and Israel giving land back to the Palestinians. Listen for yourself.

That's what's creepy about it - that not only were the Power Hour folks talking about this (and I respect Joyce and Dave) - but that they broke all these NFL records to get there!!!!

is some kind of test for the NWO to see to what extent they actually do control things. Apparently their owner is some kind of Illuminati member.

I watched the Seahawk/Panther game, because my son told me to watch #89 Steve Smith of the Panthers.

The Seahawks outplayed them the whole way. #89 was fun to watch despite his team's loss.

The SuperBowl should be interesting.

JT, I didn't hear the full thing, just the prediction about the bird flu. What other predictions did this guy make that have come to pass and WHO IS HE? Do we know? I've got to listen to the PH more often....

What's funny is that I’ve never gotten too involved in these stories. I'm among the first to blow them off. But the set of circumstances here are very, very curious. I've watched football for 40 plus years and I never would have thought the Steelers would have gotten to this years SB. The last improbable team was the NY Jets in '68. I'm not sure what to make of all this other than to say Steve - the caller - stated this all on 12/22/05, weeks before the Steelers had a shot. My gut tells me we're screwed.

We watched part of the Broncos game and frankly, they didn't look like what I'd expected. The quarterback, Plummer?, looked like JP Losman of the Bills. Don't get too much worse than that. I've been following this Pittsburgh thing with some alarm since I heard these predictions on the Power Hour. I'm not much of a football fan other than the Patriots and the Bills (yeah they suck, but they're fun to watch in a masochistic way and my SO is a Buffalonian)....

I have a very creeped out feeling about this. If it had not been SO implausible - the Steelers come out of nowhere and I don't think anyone would have expected this - to break NFL records to achieve this????? It's possible, of course - look at the Red Sox winning the series finally. Maybe it's just another sign of the apocalypse. On the other hand, that would probably be the Bills getting to the SB.

It looked like he was playing down the clock - he should have been throwing bombs at that point and he was either going for short yardage or running the ball himself. My boyfriend and I were just watching it and thinking what a bonehead....but..maybe not.

And then there's the multi-drug resistant TB the illegals bring with them too.

You're right...it's damn interesting. I watched this game with Steve's phone call to the 'Power Hour' in the back of my mind, so I found it intriguing when all those officiating calls fell Pittsburgh's way. FReepers didn't have that perspective, and still thought the game was 'fixed'. I'm not talking bitter Seattle fans, either...these were posters who claimed that they had no dog in the fight, and they still thought the game "stunk to high heaven". I'm going to solicit some 'man on the street' opinions tomorrow; to see if I get similar results. I am looking forward to tomorrow's 'Power Hour' show...

Here's another thought I had.

The death of Coach Dungy's son was exquisitely timed. Was it really a suicide? Or a message to Dungy that he had better throw his game with Pittsburgh or else?

Was it too part of the demonstration of control the Power Hour caller speaks of?

Check out my blog, America, the Bushieful.

Steve didn't mention that, but the guy who studied the NFL named Brian mentioned Dungy's son. Too many coincidences!!!

Did you see Dungy after his son's burial??? Not a tear. He's a quiet guy, but he took it in stride. god, they'd have to carry me to and from the service if it were me. It's all very unusual.

He hung himself, while his girlfriend took a 10 minute walk and his roommate was asleep in the other room.

That doesn't sound like an average suicide, whatever that is.

Here's something on the Vegas odds:

http://www.heraldnet.com/stories/06/02/03/100spo_sleeper001.cfm

It took the Las Vegas oddsmakers roughly 12 seconds after the Seahawks blew out the Carolina Panthers for the NFC title to install the Pittsburgh Steelers as three- to four-point favorites in Super Bowl XL.

So the AFC's sixth seed is favored over the NFC's top seed.

No joke. Steve the caller to the Power Hour was visited by the FBI Saturday at 1am in the morning. He was happy to share with them all the information he had. The bottom line is who knows if this is true, but the outcome he predicted - the Steelers winning the SB when their record was 7-5 in December - is amazing.

thought the game was 'fixed'.

My boyfriend and I watched the game and neither of us had any interest in either team. Bills/Patriots fans respectively. My bf, who is not conspiracy minded and thinks some of the stuff I tell him (like this whole story about the Steelers and the NWO) is crazy, actually said that the game looked fixed to him, too. Of course, that's the impression I had as well. Seattle stunk to an unreasonable degree and the refereeing was highly questionable to me.

So I guess we wait to see the other shoe drop. In the meantime, I'm stocking up on oregano oil....

The way I see what happened....

If the Seahawks don't get called for holding, they have the ball on the 1.5 yard line 1st and goal. At a minimum the game is 14-13 and maybe 14-17 Seahawks are winning. That was the play of the game. It turns out that Hasselback throws an interception 2 plays later (with another bad call giving Pitt 15 yards) and go onto score a TD.
