Title: All Republican Presidential Candidates Stand For War

There is not a peaceful person among the Republican candidates. Even the female is heartless. Carly Fiorina positioned herself along side the macho men as a warmonger. She let the military/security complex know that she, too, was for sale. Send in the campaign donations, and she will see that the money flows back to the military/security complex in the buildup of fleets and armaments that will send the Russians a message.

Alas, the only message US politicians want to send to the Russians is a war message. The Pentagon has upgraded the newly orchestrated “Russian threat” to “potentially aggressive” and is updating its plans for war with Russia.

What has Russia done to cause Washington to plan war with Russia? Don’t you know? Russia invaded Ukraine, just like Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction and al-Qaeda connections.

If Russia invaded Ukraine, how come Ukraine is still there? If weak insignificant Ukraine fought off a Russian invasion, then how is it possible that Russia is a threat?

To deal with the “Russian threat” Washington has sent armed German jet fighters to patrol the skies over the Baltic oligarchies. Washington tells Russia that the fighters are not directed at Russia. So why the fighters? Perhaps they are there to protect the Baltics from Iran like that anti-ballistic missile system Washington placed in Poland to protect Europe from nonexistent Iranian nuclear ICBMs.

It is reckless for Washington to take provocative actions against Russia and to tell Russia that the actions are directed elsewhere. Russia knows full well that the actions are directed against Russia. What Washington is teaching Russia is that Washington can never be believed. As everything Washington says is a lie, Russia cannot risk making an agreement with Washington to end the orchestrated conflict, because Washington’s word is meaningless. A liar simply cannot be trusted.

Russia’s president, Vladimir Putin, has often remarked that Washington’s provocations and propaganda are destroying trust between nuclear powers, thus raising the risk of nuclear war. But Washington is too full of arrogance and hubris to hear. Washington only hears itself.

In February 2012 President Putin made it clear that Russia rejects Washington’s policy known as “airstrike democracy” that overrides international law with military force. Putin said that Washington’s pursuit of hegemony makes every other country unsafe. Washington’s policy of violence, Putin said, might have extremely serious consequences for Washington. http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article42890.htm

Three and one-half years later the morons competing for the Republican presidential nomination are making it even more clear that they have not heard what Russia has been telling them.

If any of the Republicans are elected, or for that matter any of the Democrats, war will be the result. There is no point worrying that both parties intend to take away your Social Security, Medicare, and private pensions, because you won’t be here to collect them.

PCR is right on. He should also add no point worrying about immigration because war will ensure plenty more of that. And harping about Planned Parenthood? Bwahahahah!

Good that you found a selection in the vicinity to be stupendous. I've posted some of his commentaries as insightful, too, but am not nearly as much of a Scheuer enthusiast as you are and many others similarly. Some years ago, I was sort of listening to a 9/11 documentary on TV and I'm not exactly sure which one it was -- "9/11: The Towers and the Pentagon", maybe or maybe not -- and thought I heard him say something disturbing but haven't been able to locate that particular talk since then to reassess it, so I can't confidently criticize him about such. However, had some misgivings long prior to then, which is why I've tried several times to find a transcription of the program or a media report, if not some online video, but to no avail. So, this is a rerun of my Scheuer 4um-posting from last year but am adjusting the video-timestamp reference back a bit to 2:03. From there, he speaks for less than 3 minutes but advocates "enhanced interrogation techniques"/torture and implementation thereof like a Neocon. This is a synopsis of my noted concerns thereafter in regard to Scheurer's dispostitions on that as it conflictedly pertained to John P. O'Neill, who reportedly was rather oppositional to tactics involving torture and assassination:

Scheuer speaks of the program that he conducted at Clinton's direction during his administration and of the terror suspects being sent then to foreign countries for incarceration where they likely would be tortured.

After two months in Yemen, O'Neill returned to New York. He hoped to return to Yemen to continue the [USS Cole] investigation, but was blocked by Bodine and others [My note: iirc from other research, "others" included Scheuer]; the dispute made the US press. Following threats against the remaining FBI investigators, FBI Director Freeh withdrew the team, on O'Neill's recommendation, in June 2001.

Michael Scheuer, described in 2006 by the Washington Times as "a 22-year veteran with the CIA, [who] created and served as the chief of the agency’s Osama bin Laden unit at the Counterterrorist Center" called O'Neill and Richard Clarke "two principal authors of September 11". This statement he bases on the refusal of Clarke and O'Neill to agree to his offers to have bin Laden assassinated. [...] Scheuer said of O'Neill, [...] He once told me that he and the FBI would oppose an operation to capture bin Laden and take him to a third country for incarceration.

O'Neill was pushed out of the Bureau in 2001. He became the head of security at the World Trade Center, where he died at age 49 in the September 11, 2001 attacks.

So he's going back on everything he's been saying and just canceling it -- with these statements anyway, if they're representative and weren't old footage -- big ifs actually. When he first started getting coverage he was still talking exactly this way, then got better and better as he shed his previous skin. Still, he's done the evil empire a great deal of damage by consistently, vigorously exposing it for several years. 2015:

I don't think he entirely shed his initial veneer. The video-interview that I linked and promptly commented on at the time is described as: Recorded from BBC News Channel HD, 09 December 2014.

The auto-link feature here doesn't always activate the complete url path. Tried to piece it back together and was surprised that the display wasn't something about Scheuer recently. I hadn't heard of Scott Neeson before but he sounds like a greatly heroic and humanitarian good-guy.
