In an ironic twist. he left out the fact that the Vatican is the world’s richest corporation and has incalculable riches within it’s vaults.

“And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.” Revelation 16:13 (KJV)

Pope Francis speaking before Congress this morning did something highly unusual for a “man of God”, he didn’t open up in prayer. He did not invoke God in any way, shape or form. Instead, he jumped right into preaching the Laodicean gospel of social justice. What a phenomenal opportunity to bring Jesus Christ to the spotlight as the entire free world was watching! But no, Jesus never even got an ‘honorable mention” from the “vicar of Christ“. Wow. I preached in church this past Sunday, and we wouldn’t even begin until we had prayed and asked for the Lord’s blessing. How much more should the Pope have done this? Take a look at the photo below and see the Pope starting his remarks by giving the Satanic Illuminati “OK” sign, and you’ll know why he didn’t bother to pray to God before speaking, he was already talking with his god. And you wonder why we call him the False Prophet?

pope-francis-addresses-congress-september-24-2015-false-prophet-antichrist-obama-revelation-17

In Satanism, when making this sign the three fingers not used to make the circle are considered symbolic of the unholy trinity — horned God, Goddess, and offspring (antichrist). The bent three fingers are shaped as three number six’s, or 666. Thus, we have 666, the sun deity (Lucifer), the Goddess (Mystery, Babylon the Great, Mother of Harlots), and the beast (antichrist, 666), all in one unitary hand sign.

After that stunning spiritual flop, Pope Francis then spoke about how much he wished to “enter into a dialogue” with the American people. This is where the rambling started, and the audience in attendance began to grow confused, not sure where to applaud or even if to applaud. At the 15:00 mark, he began to talk about out of control capitalism, and the evils of money. In an ironic twist. he left out the fact that the Vatican is the world’s richest corporation and has incalculable riches within it’s vaults.

Pope Francis Delivers Historic Speech to Congress:

No God, no Jesus, and certainly a spirit but not the Holy Spirit, Francis delivers a politician’s speech on social justice, illegal immigration and the evils of wealth. At the 24:00 mark, he started promoting illegal immigration, and chastising America for not letting more illegals in over our borders. He called it a sin to not allow more illegals in, and that we should “reject a mindset of hostility” towards them. What part of the word “illegal” does the Pope not grasp? At this point he invoked the “golden rule” and got the obligatory standing ovation. It’s now the 30:00 mark, and I am still semi-patiently waiting for the “vicar of Christ” to give Jesus a shout out. Crickets., nothing but crickets.

Pope Francis completely ignored the Catholic priest pedohile sex scandal victims

“And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.” Revelation 17:4,5 (KJV)

Pope Francis make a fogged reference to the Catholic church priest sex scandals, and spent nearly 23 seconds talking about it. He said there should be “hope, forgiveness and rehabilitation” for the gay pedophile bishops who committed decades of vile sex crimes. He said NOTHING to the victims and their families. Not one word. The message the Pope sent is that the Catholic church has no desire to do one bit more than the law will force them to do. If I was a Catholic, at this point and for this reason alone, I would instantly abandon the wicked Vatican institution known as the Catholic church. Shameful and disgusting. Francis talks incessantly about “healing the world”, and he won’t even help to heal the victims that his own church created. Spoken like the lying, hypocritical False Prophet that he is.

At the 51:00 mark, Francis again invoked the memories of Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King, Jr. in an ongoing bid to call America to social justice. Still no references to God, Jesus Christ or to the Holy Spirit. The 4 Iranian hostages with one of them being a Christian pastor? Not a word. I guess they don’t count. He then closed his “sermon” by saying “God bless America”. Finally, the “vicar of Christ” mentioned God. Ugh.

America, behold your False Prophet. Please step up and take the Mark.

Doubtless, the Catholic Church has lost vastly more riches and power than whatever it has now by standing time after time through history for the beliefs and principles of Christianity in exemplary resistance to the world's stylish "trendsetters". Most of Europe lost to Martin Luther's command ... essentially all of Britain officially lost to Henry VIII's Protestant Conformance ... global scale losses to atheistic Communism, Pro-Abortionists and sundry others.

we shall all hold your [Papal] seat as possessed and oppressed by Satan, the damned seat of Antichrist

If you were to look up some info on Pope Alexander VI (Rodrigo Borgia), you might get an idea of what led him to say that.

The Netflix mini-series "Borgia" is a VERY graphic account of his reign. BTW, I've never seen the Showtime versions of the story, which they named "The Borgias", but I hear it's not quite as descriptive as the Netflix series.

I know some of the basic background issues and accusations on both sides but will try to do more study about it and even check the Hollywood versions, if I can find them. Thanks for your thoughts and suggestions. : )

curiously, I had many Protestant Christian friends who believed the Anti-Christ would be a pope.

The Netflix version is an international production (French-German-Czech- Italian) and was actually made in the Czech Republic and in Italy, and is available online.

If you don't mind signing up for Netflix, they have a free month trial offer at the moment.

Thanks for your thoughts and suggestions. : )

My pleasure. :)

Actually, Netflix has both. "The Borgias" is the Showtime version, "Borgia" is the Netflix exclusive.

The version I was referring to has John Doman playing the part of Rodrigo Borgia (Pope Alexander VI).

Here's the link to it on Netflix.

I've been thinking of trying Netflix, so thanks for the info about the free month trial offer.

Have been doing more study, as I said I would, about the schismatic religious issues in question and such. Since we've been talking about the Borgias/Borjas, am going to note the obscure detail here that Martin Luther eventually married a former Catholic nun, Katharina von Bora, whose family name is of mysterious origin.

For time-period context, am noting that there were two Popes between Alexander VI (Rodrigo Borgia, mentioned above at #17) and Leo X, who was the current Pope at the time of the Martin Luther conflict-developments: a Medici and the last Pope not of priestly orders at the time of his election. He had opposed the papal election of Cardinal Borgia/Pope Alexander VI. In the background of that timespan of several Popes is St. Francis Borgia, a relative of Alexander VI who became the 3rd Superior General of the Jesuit Society of Jesus (similar to the Knights Templar). In the background of the Leo X and Martin Luther precise-timeframe is:

1. a Cardinal Controversy or more than one controversy of the sort (Thomas/Cardinal Wolsey of England somehow involved: here and here)

and 2. the War of Urbino, said to have wrecked the Vatican finances and for which Leo X had borrowed money from England's King Henry VIII.

After Leo X was no longer Pope but very soon before Henry VIII moved to demolish the Catholic Church in England (not just become a Protestant), Martin Luther's allies were involved in the Sack of Rome (1527) which imprisoned Pope Clement VII (a Medici), killed many (including most of his Swiss Guards who were on-duty: 4um Ref.) and was the end of the Renaissance in Italy.

Post #30 -- timeline summary of the Protestant "Reformations" of Martin Luther (Phase I: fragmentation of Christendom) and Henry VIII (Phase II: further fragmenting of European Christianity in England) + Notation of the possibility that the family of Martin Luther's wife may have been crypto-Borgias (who had made enemies of the Medicis, among others).

More detailed Papacy timeline with some info-annotations:

1. Pope Alexander VI - Rodrigo Borgia/Borja. Papacy: 11 August 1492 to 18 August 1503 [11 years].

2. Pope Pius III - Papacy: 22 September 1503 to 18 October 1503 [26 days]. Not a Borgia or a Medici, afaik, but Borgia allied.

3. Pope Julius II - Papacy: 1 November 1503 to 21 February 1513 [9+ years]. A Borgia rival but, afaik, not a Medici.

4. Pope Leo X - Papacy: 9 March 1513 to 1 December 1521 [8+ years]. A Medici who had opposed the election of Pope Alexander VI, a Borgia. Borrowed money from King Henry VIII of England for the War of Urbino. Was Pope at the time of Martin Luther's opposition to the Church and his Protestant Reformation/Fragmentation of Christendom: Ref. The Ninety-Five Theses, 31 October 1517.

5. Pope Adrian VI - Papacy: 9 January 1522 to 14 September 1523 [less than 2 years]. Not a Medici or a Borgia, afaik, but had been made a Cardinal by Leo X who was a Medici.

6. Pope Clement VII - Papacy: 19 November 1523 to 25 September 1534 [10+ years]. A Medici. Pope who was imprisoned during the 1527 Sack of Rome, advanced by allies of Martin Luther. Was also Pope at the onset of King Henry VIII's so-called English Reformation/further fragmenting of European Christianity in England.

From the Wikipedia link for Martin Luther:

in October 1518, ... Luther stated that he did not consider the papacy part of the biblical Church because [his] historistical interpretation of Bible prophecy concluded that the papacy was the Antichrist. The prophecies concerning the Antichrist soon became the center of controversy. The hearings degenerated into a shouting match. More than his writing the 95 Theses, Luther's confrontation with the church cast him as an enemy of the pope. ... On 15 June 1520, the Pope warned Luther with the papal bull (edict) Exsurge Domine that he risked excommunication unless he recanted 41 sentences drawn from his writings, including the 95 Theses, within 60 days. ... [Luther refused and] was excommunicated by Pope Leo X on 3 January 1521.

The much sensationalized issue of Indulgences (i.e. faith with demonstrable works/contributions as an option for:
1. absolution of penitent sins or 2. petitioning the absolving of sins for deceased souls -- and whatever other wrongful Church-conduct was alleged by Luther) doesn't seem to have been as alarming as his contention that the Papacy was the Antichrist. According to Christian belief and Church doctrine, the Papacy had been instituted with St. Peter by Christ to properly lead and govern His Church for Him here on Earth. Besides being blasphemous about that, Luther was evidently calling for not just a "Papal regime change", of sorts, because of mismanagements but dissolution of the Papal office itself as "evil". He apparently had himself in mind to become empowered authoritatively like a Pope but elevated even higher as an "immortalized Chief-shepherd" of the Christians he'd disorient and heretically coup-maneuver into his "New World Order flock", since that's basically what happened among those "Protestants" who defected from the Church along with him then and thereafter. However, he was not rightly endowed or justified (like he had accursedly suggested and threatened - Ref. Post #16) to redesign Christ's Papal Seat of St. Peter as the property of the Antichrist.

I suspect there was an internecine (Church-internal) power-struggle/feud between the Borgia and the Medici factions that was likely Borgia-camouflaged/"Color Revolution" styled (first through Martin Luther and then through the royal court machinations of Henry VIII) as if spiritual-based "Reformations" (what the outsiders/"Commoners" would sketchily suppose of the embattling objectives) but intended to destroy the Catholic (Latin: Universal) Church and Rome, too -- most probably as something of collective punishments/Vendetta Ops over the two elected Medici Popes (listed as #4 and #6 above) and both of whom would then be infamously blamed as responsible for not having been more "Modernly Liberal".

Vatican City is a nation state and a government, with a worldwide assembly. As such, the Holy See has UN Observer diplomatic status. Hatred of Catholicism and Catholics, especially the Papacy, is a foundational doctrine of Protestantism. If nothing else was wrong in the world, there would still be that habitual malevolence of enmity.

Happy, could you please edit down the pic size by adding a space after the "path" and appending width="350" before the > ? -- or some other number that would put the thread back to the regular format dimensions, so that the text size doesn't have to be reduced to read the posts without having to scroll back a forth. If so, tia.

[My Post #37]

ATK'HWDI: haven't time to read all this at this time, but thanks for the history.....

hope somewhere in all those links they mentioned this:

"...462

"Mrs. Van Hyning, I am surprised at your surprise. You are a student of history -- and you know that both the Borgias and the Mediciis are Jewish families of Italy. Surely you know that there have been Popes from both of these house. Perhaps it will surprise you to know that we have had 20 Jewish Popes, and when you have sufficient time, which may coincide with my free time, I can show you these names and dates. You will learn from these that: The crimes committed in the name of the Catholic Church were under Jewish Popes. The leaders of the inquisition was one, de TorQuemada, a Jew." (Woman's Voice, November 25, 1953) ..."

http://solargeneral.org/wp-conte...ut-jews-willie-martin.pdf

You're welcome. The 1st 2 sections of the post are condensed historical info for context of background issues through the "Reformations" of Luther and Henry VIII, followed with 2 summary paragraphs by me. The links provided were for source verifications, additional info as needed discussionally or optional reading if anyone might be further interested in those topics/aspects. The Medici Wikipedia link mentions that the meaning of the name is "medical doctor" and that they founded a bank. The Borgia Wikipedia link mentions claims of Marrano Jewishness. In fact, those links are set to go directly to that information. Again, there is a possibility that the wife of Martin Luther was a crypto-Borgia/Borja (from the von Bora family of mysterious origin). Would you care as much if she was or if there were numerous Jews through the years in the hierarchies of Protestantism?

I wouldn't be surprised if Torquemada was Jewish but the Inquisitions plural didn't target Protestants -- just Catholics only (the professed and/or baptized). I'm surprised that there are any Protestants, such as yourself, who are so concerned about Judeo influences within and infiltrations of the Catholic Church because politicians (the majority of whom are Protestant here and probably in Europe, as well) are the only other Gentile-populous group of people I can think of who are as much or more in league with Judaism, Zionism and Israel than the Protestant Church has been and still is.

Hatred of Catholicism and Catholics, especially the Papacy, is a foundational doctrine of Protestantism. If nothing else was wrong in the world, there would still be that habitual malevolence of enmity.

Do you ever question how Martin Luther, ex-communicated as a heretic, would have survived to do all he did to damage the Catholic Church if there actually was such a Jesuit oath? -- because Jesuits did indeed exist as the Pope's Army in his lifetime and the Swiss Guard Special Forces too. Still do. If they wanted to execute him and his "Reformation" cohorts, they probably could have done that more than a decade before he was dead but evidently didn't.

You don't have to remind me that Protestantism is a congregation rooted and schooled in hatred of Catholicism, mired much in their "weaponized" mythologies about it -- all of which has been devastating to the parishes, communities and families of Catholics for centuries ... has even been converting people to Atheism and anything but Christianity because of so much belligerence against Catholics who aren't moving to harm Protestants at all and aren't instructed to despise them, as Protestants are conditioned to revile and torment Catholics.

Oh, yeah, Christian hatred of RCism is intense. Three Methodists chased down a priest and shot him yesterday.

I went to a lecture at a Lutheran college last month and in every square on campus people were rallying and shouting "death to the papists" :-)

In New York, Pope Francis Embraced Chrislam And Laid A Foundation For A One World Religion

What Pope Francis had to say at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Manhattan has received very little coverage by the mainstream media, but it was exceedingly significant.  The following is how he began his address

I would like to express two sentiments for my Muslim brothers and sisters: Firstly, my greetings as they celebrate the feast of sacrifice. I would have wished my greeting to be warmer. My sentiments of closeness, my sentiments of closeness in the face of tragedy. The tragedy that they suffered in Mecca.

In this moment, I give assurances of my prayers. I unite myself with you all. A prayer to almighty god, all merciful.

He did not choose those words by accident.  In Islam, Allah is known as “the all-merciful one”.  If you doubt this, just do a Google search.

And this is not the first time Pope Francis has used such language.  For instance, the following comes from remarks that he made during his very first ecumenical meeting as Pope…

I then greet and cordially thank you all, dear friends belonging to other religious traditions; first of all the Muslims, who worship the one God, living and merciful, and call upon Him in prayer, and all of you. I really appreciate your presence: in it I see a tangible sign of the will to grow in mutual esteem and cooperation for the common good of humanity.

The Catholic Church is aware of the importance of promoting friendship and respect between men and women of different religious traditions – I wish to repeat this: promoting friendship and respect between men and women of different religious traditions – it also attests the valuable work that the Pontifical Council for interreligious dialogue performs.

Pope Francis clearly believes that Christians and Muslims worship the exact same God.  And so that helps to explain why he authorized “Islamic prayers and readings from the Quran” at the Vatican for the first time ever back in 2014.

Catholicism and Islam are the two largest religions on the entire planet, and so any one world religion would need to incorporate both of those belief systems.  Sadly, this Pope seems to be quite eager to lay the groundwork for such a one world religion.

Pope Francis made another statement at St. Patrick’s Cathedral that has shocked believers all over the planet.  Apparently this Pope seems to think that the cross was a “failure”

The cross shows us a different way of measuring success. Ours is to plant the seeds. God sees to the fruits of our labors. And if at times our efforts and works seem to fail and not produce fruit, we need to remember that we are followers of Jesus Christ and his life, humanly speaking, ended in failure, the failure of the cross.

After he made that statement, he didn’t continue to go on and explain that the cross was ultimately a great victory.  He just ended his thought and moved on to other topics.

During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.

Most Popes have long been promoting interreligious dialogue of friendship and respect. Protestants and other non-Catholics doing the opposite is a better thing to do or what?

After he made that statement, he didn’t continue to go on and explain that the cross was ultimately a great victory. He just ended his thought and moved on to other topics.

I read his speech at the linked ABC News article. Out-of-context misfocus on supposed failure, as measured in human terms rather than God's view, is exactly what the Pope's preceeding paragraph-statements there were cautioning against. To summarize in much the same wording:

If at times our efforts and works seem to fail and not produce fruit, we need to remember that we are followers of Jesus Christ and his life, humanly speaking, ended in failure, the failure of the cross. But the cross shows us a different way of measuring success. Ours is to plant the seeds. God sees to the fruits of our labors.

Prior to that, the point he was trying to make was to not get caught up in measuring the value of apostolic works by the standards (humanly speaking) of outward success rather than God's evaluation and perspective. He then went on to speak about "meeting the challenges of adapting to an evolving pastoral landscape, like Saint Peter" and asked that "regardless of the difficulties and trials that you face, be at peace and respond to them as Christ did. He gave thanks to the father, took up his cross and looked forward."

Pope Francis Says Koran and Bible Teach the Same Thing

[3 minute YouTube video with that misleading title, posted 1st of 3 at #50

From the video-Description section: Based on some posts going around claiming Pope Francis said the Koran / Quran and the Holy Bible teach the same thing; and that Jesus Christ, Mohammed, Jehovah, and Allah are all names for the same God.]

Noting that the above referenced video you presented shows this Disclaimer stating that the presumed "newsource", nationalreport.net, is a satirical site:

National Report is a news and political satire web publication, which may or may not use real names, often in semi-real or mostly fictitious ways. All news articles contained within National Report are fiction, and presumably fake news. Any resemblance to the truth is purely coincidental. Advice given is NOT to be construed as professional. If you are in need of professional help, please consult a professional. National Report is not intended for children under the age of 18.

Also, at fellowshipoftheminds.com: Did Pope Francis really say the Koran and Bible are the same?

You may have received an email claiming that Pope Francis said the Koran and the Bible are the same. The source of that is an article, “Pope Francis to Followers: ‘Koran and Holy Bible Are The Same’,” on the website washingtonpost.com.co. ... Like many, I too thought washingtonpost.com.co is the website of The Washington Post newspaper [then] realized washingtonpost.com.co is a fake news site, like The Onion and its imitators — lesser-known but equally fraudulent and downright evil websites, such as World News Daily Report and Washington Weekly News. ... Here is the entirety of what Pope Francis actually said on March 20 2013, when he received several dozen representatives of the various Christian Churches and of the Jewish and Muslim faiths, who had attended the pope’s inauguration. From Vatican Radio [text of the speech] ... I read the above speech three times. No where did Pope Francis mention the Koran. No where did he equate the Bible with the Koran.

Regarding the false statements attributed to Pope Francis at paragraph 2 of nationalreport.net's fake/pseudo-news page, claiming (as displayed in the video) that Jesus Christ, Mohammed, Jehovah, and Allah are all names for "an entity that is distinctly the same across the world", am noting that the name "Mohammed" doesn't currently appear within the article-text at nationalreport.net but probably did originally because it is quoted twice in the Comment section at that site (by two different posters) exactly the same as it is shown in the YouTube video. Another poster-comment there says this: "Muslims do not pray to Mohammed and in the Koran it clearly states that Mohammed is only a man and not God."

He's trying to touch all the liberal bases in a blasphemous grand slam and throw an occasional sop to conservatives in private. The right to life is one of the last shreds of morality the RCC still engages -- poorly -- and the US is a leader in number of babies killed as well as in importing the quaint custom elsewhere. Did the Plope bring this up while here?

Oh -- I forgot, no mentioning of crime while visiting the Mafia. He'd better put that cross down and start waving the crescent moon or hammer and sickle. No doubt they could be combined?

I love the star and crescent moon motif because it's totally illogical...... Whoa, did we chew this over already?--

Seventies Book 'Camp of the Saints' Foretold Pope’s Message
J. Hahn – Breitbart

Pope Francis is urging America to throw open her borders to thousands of impoverished migrants, in part to atone for the “sins” of the colonial era ... The last three headlines, however, are ripped not from today’s papers, but from the pages of a controversial 1973 French novel by Jean Raspail, which many say has predicted with shocking accuracy the events unfolding today. The novel, which has been translated into English, is entitled The Camp of the Saints, and posits that the liberalism of the West would cause Western nations to throw open their doors to so many migrants that it would spell the doom of liberal society itself. Raspail’s thesis, quite simply, is that liberalism is inadequate to defend liberalism. All around the world, events seem to be lining up with the predictions of the book....
