A child jihadi armed with a rocket-propelled grenade has threatened to behead 'Dog of Rome Obama' in a chilling new video released by ISIS. The boy, who is only about ten-years-old, tells US President Barack Obama he is 'dreaming' if he thinks American soldiers will enter the large swathes of land the terror group controls. With one finger pointed to the sky - a hand signal which has become synonymous with ISIS - he warns: 'Wake up from your sleep and pay the jiz' yah (religious tax) in submission before the swords of the khalifah (caliphate) reach you and cut your filthy head.' Well, think of that -- Dog of Rome! And people think I'm insensitivity personified. Folks there's a great deal of juicy material wafting down the right margin here deserving of our attention and dissection. You think this is real? I'm constantly trying to usher newcomers into 4um. Are you all too?
Yes, de Dawg of Rome or Rum (pronounced "room") in the Koran & Hadith. This really wasn't Rome at all, which was a city in some eclipse by the 7th century. What is meant by Muslims is Constantinople which was one of the great powers the desert dwellers were contending with. The other big empire of course was Persia. What the stupid, half educated boy means by Rome is anybody's guess. It is probably just another object of hatred, one of many, acquired in some half- digested sermon delivered by a salafist fanatic.

I didn't really think they were thinking of the RCC -- it probably doesn't pass through the thoughts of most of 'em. How did you come by this impressive fluency in the subject?
