Does Netanyahu Intend Full-Scale War on Palestine? by Stephen Lendman He met with his full security team for the first time since waging naked aggression on Gaza in summer 2014. Does he intend to ravage Palestine entirely - invading with thousands of troops, using tanks, artillery, and multiple daily bombing raids on residential areas, maybe this time murdering tens of thousands of defenseless civilians, turning Palestinian West Bank and East Jerusalem communities to rubble like Gaza ones! Put nothing past this monster, an Arab-hating barbarian, a serial killer vital to stop. He’s on a “war footing,” said the Times of Israel - announcing “the start of (a) Zionist enterprise,” an ominous signal of horrors to come. He lied, saying he’s fighting “terrorists who have been incited and are filled with hatred.” Big Lies are the last refuge of world-class thugs. Promising to prevail assures continued state terror, targeted assassinations, other killings, thousands of Palestinian casualties overall, mass arrests, brutal torture, and perhaps all-out war on millions of defenseless Palestinians - with full support and encouragement from Obama. Netanyahu wants Israelis to believe his cause is just, to think Palestinian children and youths throwing stones are terrorists, that they’re guilty of crimes he commits, that it’s OK to murder them in cold blood, that state-sponsored violence will make them safer. Targeting civilians is an Israeli specialty - using disproportionate force, slaughtering civilian men, women, children, the elderly and infirm, killing them at home, at work, while praying, in school, or sheltering to find safety. Netanyahu and likeminded Israeli fascists ignore fundamental international law principles, enforcing collective punishment, firing missiles at Palestinian civilians from US-supplied F-16s, shells from tanks and artillery, high-powered weapons used by Israeli soldiers, trained to hate Arabs, feel no remorse about slaughtering them. Palestinian suffering is a way of life. Imagine living every day not sure if you'll live or die. Imagine young children growing up this way, confronted by Netanyahu’s scourge and other thuggish officials ruling Israel - its regime an out-of-control killing machine, a human life devouring monster. Netanyahu consistently blames Palestinians for his own high crimes - longstanding rogue state policy, shifting blame onto others, diverting attention from state-sponsored terror. Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon said Israel intends using “crushing” force against virtually defenseless Palestinians, including full support for extremist settlers and other Zionist zealots, turning them loose to commit violence, vandalism and mayhem. Netanyahu wants “a wide coalition and a unified people” supporting his reign of terror - signaling it’s about to get much worse. Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh “call(ed) for strengthening and increasing” resistance, “the only path that will lead to liberation,” he stressed. “Gaza will fulfill its role in the Jerusalem intifada, and it is more than ready for confrontation,” he added. Israel murdered 10 Palestinians in the last 24 hours, 17 in October so far. How much more bloodshed will the world community tolerate? Stephen Lendman lives in Chicago.
