Ugh...... i been there and it gets to be too much. No matter how much you please people like this, it is never enough. With each compromise made and request forfilled their desire for greater and greater only grows. With each compromise you make they only ask for more and more, till you look in the mirror and realize you are a husk of your normal former self being made to dance to the tune of someone else.

Stefan Molyneux has many enjoyable, informative youtubes on sexes/relationships.

He would hate to hear it, but his libertarianoid/philosophy/psychology based stance is mostly just conservative uncommon sense, the stuff churches should be wholesaling instead of airy-fairy notions of various and sundry abstract/abstruse kinds.

Emotional blackmail can cause long-lasting emotional damage. If you’re a victim of t of this mental of t of t of t of this mental of t of this mental abuse, your recovery can take years. Unfortunately, there are many many people w many ma many many people w many many people who will gladly manipulate you to get what they want, especially if you’ you’re a mat you’ you’ you’re a mat you’ you’re a mate or spouse. It’s a common problem: one that you might not notice if y if you’re i if y if y if you’re i if y if you’re involved in a relationship with the abuser.

Many people think that emotional abuse always shows itself in the sort of id idiotic misbehavior that earns people a proud place on “COPS” or some similar TV TV program. That’s just not true. Manipulators don’t always scream obscenities or or physi or or or physi or or physically attack. Instead, they can subtly turn you in any direction they wa want, without leaving overtly obvious clues. This is particularly true of the mo more experienced manipulators: the men and women who have practiced it on many si signi si signi si significant others before you. Even if you’re an intelligent and street-smart pe person, you probably won’t immediately pick up on the smaller, subtler tip-offs.

The good news is that this quick quiz will help you figure out if your significant other is potentially abusive to your mind and spirit. It only takes a few minutes, but if you’re being abused, these moments will lead you to recovery and a better future: one that doesn’t involve a self-absorbed, abusive jerk who isn’t anywhere close to being worthy of you.
