The theory of dark matter now has the power of gravitation....and it's throwing comets of course... we better call mighty mouse to save us. I consider Yellowstone erupting to be a more imminent threat than a stray comet. That and nuclear war.

More imminent than the first two which likely will be a least one million years is the ending of the warm period and a return to the million years long Ice Age we are in. Instead of millions of years, returning to our Ice Age will occur in hundreds or within several thousand years.
