Be good AT ANYTHING. If there are people who’ve heard of you, there are people who hate you with a white-hot hate that only those who are anonymous can feel for someone they never expect to meet face-to-face. Between email and the now nearly 2.8 million person Right Wing News Facebook page, I get hate mail on a daily basis. Death threats and what I think of as “quasi-death threats” (Someone should cut your throat!) are a common occurrence. After you deal with it for years, it’s easy to become jaded about it. In fact, recently after seeing a couple of messages I received, a friend was alarmed that I wasn’t calling the police. As I told her, why should I waste my time reporting these idiots to the police? If I did that every time I get a death threat, I’d be doing it every week. So at this point, I have grown to appreciate hate mail for the entertainment value and every so often, I share the messages I get with my readers over at Right Wing News. Today, for the first time ever, I decided to post my all-time favorites. The names have been peeled off, but the original language, including the misspellings have been left in all their original glory! I think you’ll enjoy seeing what all these wonderful liberals had to say when they thought no one else was watching. (P.S.: *’s were used to blot out the expletives.
