As planned and prepped by lit distribution in advance, my gang piled in at the York (SC) County Council meeting Monday nite from around the state. York and nearby Spartanburg Co are where the demons hope to start "RESETTLING" the "REFUGEES" all over SC.

For a 6PM meeting we were out front demonstrating at 5. Sign messages, mine painted with the all-important 1" foam rubber brush, included

Save YORK! SAVE SC! Save U.S.
An INVADER is not a “REFUGEE”
MORE “DIVERSITY” MEANS MORE CRIME
VOTE NO ON THE MUSLIM INVASION OF SC

Our fearless leader Dr. Carter parked some of us right by the doors to the building. I couldn't believe this would be allowed, but he'd said the one council member known to be right-minded said to. Right on schedule a black cop questioned us, but called his HQ and was told it was all right.

Among others streaming into the building a group of liberal-looking individuals passed us and nodded hello. Turned out to be reps of an Indian tribe that wants to build a huge movie studio up there.

Doc had instructed us to give a local address when signing the pad to speak. There was concern that if we did so they'd call us on it, while if we didn't they'd see a list of folks from hours away and skip over some or all. It was all good, though -- the chairman simply went down the list normally during public input time, even allowing some of us to abuse the two-minute limit rather badly.

Two or three of us (not I) went up for for the Nov. 2 first reading and tonight was an exciting advance on it. Neither time was there anybody present to speak for the refugee scheme; this time two locals we didn't know rose to condemn it -- one, a young lady, was as incisive on the real issues as they come.

The other was an impassioned 87-year-old gentleman, Curwood Chappell, who had chaired the council for 22 years. His hearing problems and total lack of guile made for some innocent chuckling. We chatted with him, his wife and daughter afterward at some length.

Well, the good news wouldn't stop. I traveled up with longtime compatriot Dean Allen, who reported that 10 and then a total of 17 states had announced refusal on these invaders. In the course of the meeting the chairman, while rapping us for breaking his applause rule, said several times that he was probably more against the scheme than the rest of us put together.

A council member to his left conveyed the news that the SC governor, recently revealed to be a hateful RINO, had just come through

"Haley asked the U.S. State Department not to resettle any Syrian refugees in South Carolina, citing the difficulty of checking their backgrounds"

Dean had told me she had to power to save us all this trouble by rescinding the statement she signed giving the feds the green light. Maybe the airheaded diversity poster girl's feeling the heat.

Thus it suddenly appears 3 of the 4 council members needed to defeat the scheme are on board -- especially remarkable if, as we've been told, members are getting payoffs to vote for it. York is a place forgotten by time, but it could be the hole in the dike.

From my remarks: Church bodies are pushing these programs and getting handsomely paid by the Obama administration for it. I think if they stopped to consider even the short-term impact they'd run the other way from it. Notably, churches whose motto is “always welcome the stranger” lock their doors.

We packed off to a Huddle House for food and merriment afterward. Doc had copies of the latest edition of our newspaper the Conservative Action Report and several said they liked on my editorial contrasting the Charleston shootings with the Charleston shooting.

York does have a lovely old-fashioned downtown, with what appears to be a circa 1900 brick hotel across the street with a porch across the front of the 3 stories. I feel sure there was once an ACLU lawsuit against the council starting its meetings with prayers but can't find a page on it. "In God we trust" is on the wall in big metal letters up front in the chamber.

Excellent work, NN! Thanks for all that you and your gang are doing to preserve (reclaim?) a state and country that our children and theirs can live in. Dr. Carter is a truly great man and activist -- one of the few great ones still living.

Thanks for the excellent action and sit-rep, but was a vote taken? thanks.

Preciate these remarks, folks. This was the second of three readings, and apparently they don't vote till the last. Whoops, tho't I'd mentioned that.

Hammer'em even harder on the third reading and stop the insanity.

I don't see it?

We saw again last night how profound and penetrating white AND black racial stupidity is at a third York County (SC) Council meeting. After all our input at the microphone including local citizens -- entirely against the idea of making York home to some "Syrian" "refugees" -- they still sat there and hemmed and hawed.

A 20-plus-year former chairman of the council had spoken vigorously against it at multiple meetings. One councilman now gave a passionate if rather poorly focused speech against the proposal. Then the lone woman on the council threw it all in the trash saying we should take the poor darlings in because welcoming such is the amerikan tradition and we're a "NATION OF IMMIGRANTS" after all. She said the council should just write the governor and thank her for her weak-as-water message to Obongo wimpishly ASKING him not to send us any of the towelheads. Others then agreed with her!

The above good guy had just asked if he could read the council a very strong, short draft resolution against the proposal. Nobody said anything. Finally the chairman said it had failed to receive a second at the last meeting, why "don't you who still want one draft a new one and talk about it at the next open meeting."

The token black councilman has made it as obvious as he could with his body language this whole town what he thought of us. I promise you these fools are simply being bought. Two nigues sitting next to me mumbled gliberal junk through the proceedings.

Diversity in political office = the dead roach in your orange juice. Killing South Carolina's historic spirit of defiance as we speak. Two forces have to be at work against us here, bribery and the Masonic buddy system.

There were other indignities at the meeting including an endless ceremony fawning over the committee (including at least one NAACP rep) that pushed through a hateful $100,000,000 bond issue. We had militated against this and lost, and what do you know a rich-looking old yankee was running this show. I asked the guy next to me who this demon was -- he thinks he's a former Boeing executive. Figures!!! He's SO slick and SO smooth about it he has to be a CFR or bankers' plant or something = goyish (?) sayan type thing.

Raw text of our flier on it from six weeks ago:

VOTE NO on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3

Less than a year after passage of the Clover $100 million school bond referendum, we face another referendum for $89.8 million in York County building upgrades for the recycling center, magistrates' offices, Moss Justice Center, and Family Courts. This well-organized campaign, supported by the Herald newspaper, fails to take into account the many families who cannot afford the mission creep of the Citizens and Business for York County organization.

Consider that citizens in Clover, SC already pay some of the highest water and sewer bills in the state – roughly $100 per month. Compare that to Spartanburg County where water and sewer are roughly $60 for three months. The high water bills in Clover are the result of borrowing money to build infrastructure for various housing developments and you begin to see where this is leading us. 16th Solicitor Kevin Brackett says that if the bond referendum fails, he would be forced to prioritize cases. Well, many of us in York County are already prioritizing which bills to pay and which ones wait. According to a page one October 26 Wall Street Journal article titled US firms warn of a slowing economy, American business is facing a protracted slowdown in production, sales and employment. It would be well to reconsider adding an additional $89.9 million in debt on the backs of York County citizens before you vote on Tuesday, Nov. 3. I do not believe that the needs of public facilities cannot be met in a more sane and less expensive building program.

Happy to say that one or two local citizens went to the mike and vigorously denounced this utopian overkill AND the way it was being rammed through with secret meetings etc.

Update: we seem to have stirred up just the right hornet's nest after all. Doc Darter lives in the county and says that the day after the above, a radio station played parts of the speeches by former Council chairman Chappell and our associate Michael Reed every hour on the hour all day in its news. A cable TV network intended to feature my speech and Doc Carter's and may have.

Doc reminded me that he exposed a nasty Rock Hill Herald columnist in our print newspaper and the guy complained in print that his paper had gotten hundreds of letters denouncing him. A gang of our people will be gathering the first day of the legislature in January to greet the prostiticians with signs denouncing their CBF betrayal. They have prefiled bills to take every Confederate monument down across the state and need to hear from us.

Anybody who'd like to participate let me know. Or do the same in your state! Hey, we may be having a little FREEDOM 4UM SUMMIT MEETING here in central SC TOMORROW. Y'al come!
