The implication of the Pennycostal, Church o' Gawd and other pietistic churches' stance is that Christians should just go about more pleasant business and (for instance) leave politics to the politicians. i understand your point. While i do believe that we should focus on getting to heaven, which as a Christian is the ultimate and primary goal of life, i dont believe that excludes working towards the good and exposing evil in that process.

otherwise Jesus wouldnt have gotten that whip and drove the moneychangers out of the temple.
