Some have grown tired of living in the shadow of the law, and say border jumping has become too dangerous. Jobs are easier to find now in Mexico, and family ties are powerful. Here are some of their stories:

A had a beautiful, loving family a long time ago, but I ditched them in a dime store thinking they could survive for several months on crackers and pet food.

Go back and see if they've not moved up to the canned tuna and green beans.

Bottom line: it's cheaper to live in poverty in mexico than it is in america. Plus, there's the added bonus of not having to deal with blacks.

Hold the phone. These people come here to become good amerikans, pay taxes etc -- we've been told it over and over again. This article makes them sound like a bunch of opportunists! >:-)

Sounds like good news, hope it's real. The millions that have come here are indeed guilty of abandonment -- there are whole villages in Mexico where there are no working-age people thanks to DC's border policy, or lack of same.

"Jobs are easier to find now in Mexico" -- that sounds like the real reason the others are covering for. The border too dangerous now -- pray tell, what has changed?

Don't believe these numbers.
