As far as I can see, Putin hasn't said a word about it yet, and because of Syria's problems he won't likely comment on 9/11 for a long time. He still has to deal with the crazy black guy living in the White House so he would be reluctant to disturb Obama's coverup of the details of 9/11.
Russia's government sees internal matters of other countries as not being Russia's business, unlike the US government which feels compelled to criticize every other nation except Britain, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
Russian history books will someday print the truth about 9/11 even if American history is heavily censored, but it won't be soon.
For readers who wonder what was covered up about 9/11, you can start with the confiscated video tapes of the Pentagon bombing that the US government has classified as "top secret" and refused to release to the press. There were video cameras running in other buildings nearby that showed what hit the Pentagon and it was not an airliner. One Pentagon employee even sued because she said her office was intentionally bombed but the lawsuit was settled secretly. It seems the Obama regime wants to continue the Bush regime coverup of 9/11. Not a single US person or government official has been punished for 9/11 other than inside whistleblowers.

Putin has alternatives if he wanted to get the truth out about 9/11 - there are plenty of Russian scientists and engineers who would agree with American scientists and engineers that the official government story was impossible. There are also FSB/GRU agents who can write books or do youtube videos about what Russian intelligence agencies discovered about 9/11. And there are private Russian citizens who may be interested in writing about what they found. Russian intel found a way to expose Victoria Nuland and her Ukraine plot, so 9/11 should be no problem if they get the order to disclose whatever they have. And maybe they don't have that much other than satellite videos or photos. Releasing satellite images of 9/11 Pentagon attack would be interesting but it may also reveal how advanced Russian spy satellites have become. Revealing secrets often backfires.
Most Americans by now are vaguely aware that there is a very strong opposing view of 9/11 even if they don't know what it involves, but with the internet and youtube.com it doesn't take too long to learn about it.
