If Obama is successful with his plans to bring Syrian refugees to the U.S. then he will likely be importing a significant number of terrorists. There’s really no way to argue against that, especially now that we’ve seen what Syrian terrorist were capable doing is Paris. Obama insists that if we were to receive those regfugees then they’d all be vetted thoroughly before they gain entry to the country. If he’s so confident potential terrorists would be caught then he’s not going to be airing the dirty laundry the TSA just discovered. According to NewsWeek: A recent U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) report found that 73 aviation workers, employed by airlines and vendors, had alleged links to terrorism. The report, published by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Inspector General on June 4, blamed bureaucratic mistakes. Though the TSA says it frequently cross-checks applications and employee lists with the DHS’s “Consolidated Terrorist Watchlist,” both are incomplete. The TSA’s employee lists, which consist of thousands of records, “contained potentially incomplete or inaccurate data, such as an initial for a first name and missing social security numbers,” the report found. The DHS Consolidated Terrorist Watchlist was also incomplete because “[TSA] is not authorized to receive all terrorism-related categories under current interagency watchlisting policy.” Can you imagine what’s going to happen when thousands upon thousands of refugees arrive here and are vetted similarly? Doesn’t sound like we’re going to be any safer, does it? This is the problem with Obama wanting to bring refugees into the country. Even if we do vet them there is still a great chance we will be allowing people into the country who have an obvious vendetta against our country. No amount of screening is going to catch everything.
