Hollywood Actress Makes Sick Claim, Insults Christians and the Cross November 16th, 2015
Most Hollywood elitists forget they were given the opportunity to become wildly successful, rich and famous in the United States of America. And many of them use their platform to put down America, Republicans and even Christianity.
Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence did just that recently. The Hunger Games mega-star recently used her celebrity popularity to make fun of the state of Kentucky where she was born and placed on her path to Hollywood success.
Heres what Lawrence said in a recent interview with Vogue magazine, via ConservativeTribune.com:
Lawrence said that Kim Davis, the Kentucky county clerk who was jailed over her choice to not sign off on gay marriage licenses, made her feel embarrassed to be from Kentucky.
Dont even say her name in this house, said Lawrence. All those people holding their crucifixes, which may as well be pitchforks, thinking theyre fighting the good fight. I grew up in Kentucky. I know how they are.
Its 2015 and gay people can get married and we think that weve come so far, so, yay! she said. But have we? I dont want to stay quiet about that stuff.'
She continued her tirade by switching her negative thoughts to the Republican party a party she claims doesnt support basic womens rights. According to Lawrence, she was raised as a Republican, but obviously didnt take any time to research what the party stands for or much of anything else, for that matter.
This is another example of the Hollywood elite, who have no problem mocking a sizable segment of their audience who also happens to buy tickets to their movies.
Do you think that Christians and conservatives should boycott Ms. Lawrences movies in response to her remarks?

Jennifer Lawrence is from Kentucky? It seems she grew up there also. Hollywood elitist? You bet she is.
When I lived in Chicago, there was a fight at the corner tap. The windows got broken out, so the next night it was closed. This guy wanted a beer, so he went across the street to the Blue Pub. It was a gay bar. Some guy grabbed his ass and he punched him out. The cops came and arrested him. He got in front of the judge, and the judge said, "I'm tired of you tough guys beating up the gays." He gave him 30 days in the county jail.
I knew about that place, so I stayed away from it.
