Then, recently, it's turned out that Jack Abramoff paid some douchebag "journalist" to write favorable articles for him. And Judith Miller, who, in addition to apparently being a paid shill, might also be an Israeli agent of some sort. So, given that more and more people turn to the internet for "interactive" journalism, it makes perfect sense that the repukes would spread the payola around among internet posters, too. Incidentally, I also must confess to having been one of those who ragged on Gore during the run-up to the 2000 election, and during the whole controversy. Whatever Gore's faults--and there are many--I do now wish that he had become president instead of the one we got. Of course, we'd have had Lieberman as VP, but even Lieberman would be hard-pressed to do as much harm as VP as Satan has. Not that it matters now, in the twilight of the American empire...
