War, War, War See other War, War, War Articles Title: Cameron Lobbies UK Parliament for Naked Aggression on Syria Cameron Lobbies UK Parliament for Naked Aggression on Syria by Stephen Lendman Britain partners with all US wars of aggression, raging in multiple theaters. Prime Minister David Cameron wants all-out war on Syria, not against ISIS and other terrorists as he falsely claims. During Wednesday parliamentary debate, he lied, calling it a moral and military duty to bomb Syria - either taking on the evil of ISIS in its heartland or wait(ing) for it to attack us, failing to explain his ugly scheme complicit with Washington: attacking Syria to remove Assad, supporting ISIS foot soldiers on the ground. He maliciously bashed Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, outrageously crossing the line, turning truth on its head, calling him a terrorist sympathizer. He was quoted by MPs with him at the time, specifically saying they should not be walking through the lobbies with Jeremy Corbyn and a bunch of terrorist sympathizers. Labour responded, demanding an apology for a reckless and desperate slur on the eve of voting up or down on waging naked aggression on Syria. UK public sentiment toward airstrikes is mixed, a majority either opposed or undecided. Corbyn said the case for launching them is coming apart at the seams
(O)pposition to (Camerons) ill- thought-out rush to war is growing. His spokesman accused the prime minister of contempibl(y) demean(ing) his office. He clearly realises he has failed to make a convincing case for military action and that opinion is shifting away from him. Camerons bluster created more enemies than allies. Days earlier, he appeared to have a clear majority for war. His rhetoric alienated some of his Tory MPs, rallying more Labour ones around Corbyn. Crunch time approaches. Chances are parliament will choose war, fully aware of Camerons duplicity, his alliance with Obamas scheme to oust Assad, knowing his claim about combating ISIS is subterfuge for his real objective. Obamas aggression on Syria appears heading toward heating up, France more heavily involved, Britain on the cusp of joining in - Russia alone among the major powers battling ISIS and other terrorists forthrightly, US-led NATO nations, Israel and other regional rogue states its adversaries.
