What Has 3 Barrels And Terrifies Liberals?

The answer is something yours truly has never seen before.

A three-barreled over/under shotgun.

The idea is that if one is good, two is better and three must be perfect. That’s what Chiappa had in mind when they designed their new shotgun. Chiappa is an Italian based company that has made an entry into the American market. And knowing how Americans like to go big or go home they’ve decided to offer something that is going to blow the average gun owners mind.

Check out what Guns.com has to say about this new weapon.

Ok, so when you look at a gun like that you might think “Hey, that’s a cool gun, but it’s probably just for show and not much else.”

Well that’s not the verdict given to it by many experts. They say though it might top out people’s budgets it’s still a great gun for both performance and self defense.

Guns.com says, “It’s a very well-made higher end performer. While cost will be prohibitive and most folks will likely never feel the need for a triple barreled O/U, they have their merits for flawless self-defense, reliable wing shooting, or just plain conversation factor.”

If you’ve got the money and you like great guns then this might just be the gun for you.

$1,500 is a big price tag. Get it you've got it.

Sweet.

Put a nice leather sling on it, and you've got a fine Texas open carry.

It's plenty cute, but there's lots better ways to get more bangs for your bucks. imo

Yes, I agree.

I wouldn't consider this a "flawless" home defense weapon. And with that sawed off stock, it's not well suited for hunting.

You're right, there's more and better options out there that folks should consider; plus, they'd have at least 1K to spend on ammo.

It's nice, but for me, it's just silly.

I've got a Mossberg shotgun with a pistol grip stock. I load it with buck as the first round and a slug to follow. If there are more than one invader, the second one will dive for cover. The slug will go thru that cover. ;)

Get an extended magazine so that you can have seven shells to alternate. Bad guys won't stand much of a chance.

Sounds like a good plan. But how much cover do you have in your house that 00 buck won't penetrate at very close range?
