War, War, War See other War, War, War Articles Title: Kerry's Duplicitous Moscow Mission Kerrys Duplicitous Moscow Mission by Stephen Lendman Russia urges mutual cooperation among all nations - on the basis of each one respecting the sovereignty of others, none demanding its interests matter most at their expense, the way Washington unilaterally operates. Expect Kerrys latest mission to Moscow to accomplish nothing. Two nations have fundamentally opposite agendas. Russia is the worlds leading peacemaker, going all-out to resolve conflicts in Ukraine and Syria diplomatically - impossible to achieve given Americas belligerent agenda. It wants endless wars of aggression for unchallenged global dominance, including all independent governments replaced by pro-Western ones - mainly Russia and China, its two main rivals, standing in the way of its ultimate goal. Its heading recklessly toward resolving differences confrontationally, escalating the risk of nuclear war. Lunatics in Washington may try anything to advance their imperial agenda. Theyre hellbent to let nothing stand in their way. America is at war with Russia without declaring it, using Turkey, other NATO countries, Middle East ones, and its terrorist allies. Kerry pressured Moscow for the current meeting. Hes making another futile attempt to enlist Putins support for what he fundamentally rejects. Hell continue combating the scourge of terrorism, polar opposite Washingtons phony campaign. He respects Syrian sovereignty and the right of its people alone to decide wholl lead them, free from outside interference. Washington wants final say he wont permit or tolerate its flagrant breaches of international law. Ahead of Kerrys latest meeting visit, he duplicitously said (t)he world benefits when powerful nations with a long history with each other have the ability to be able to find the common ground. Today, I hope, we can find some common ground - code language for wanting Russia to accede to US demands unconditionally, sacrificing its independence in the process, failing to understand Putin responsibly will do whatever it takes to defend the homeland, never surrendering its sovereign to a foreign power. Ukraine and Syria dominated Tuesday talks. US support for Kiev fascists remains strong, including its war on Donbass. Intermittent shelling continues. Things could escalate full-scale again any time. Nor should any nation. Key areas of disagreement in Syria remain over the fate of Assad and what opposition elements are terrorist groups. No moderates exist, despite phony US claims otherwise. The so-called Free Syrian Army exists more on paper than in reality. US-supported cutthroat killers comprise all anti-Assad forces. Sergey Lavrov earlier asked where are the so-called moderates? No one can find them - because they dont exist, except in the deception emanating from Washington and its rogue partners. Moscows Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov called the outcome of Kerrys latest visit hard to predict because the situation is constantly changing. Its no exaggeration to say that every day brings new events and decisions that influence those perspectives. At the same time, Moscow is justifiably furious over current bilateral relations in the context of isolating Russia - a failed policy some EU nations are beginning to realize. A US-created hostile environment impede(s) normal dialogue and (ability to reach mutually acceptable) agreements between both nations, Ryabkov explained. US attempts to portray Putin as a pariah backfired hugely. Hes the most worthy Nobel Peace Prize candidate yet to receive the award - reserved largely for warmakers like Obama. During last months G20 meeting in Turkey, he wasnt ostracized or isolated. Hes the most preeminent world leader. All others sought his attention most of all, eager to discuss bilateral relations. Everyone focused on his meeting with Obama. So far, hes a long way from forging an international coalition against terrorism - because Washingtons agenda is polar opposite. Rhetorically, Obama, Kerry and other US officials call ISIS a common scourge. America continues supporting what it claims to oppose. Russia, partnered with Syria, Iraq, and Iran is waging real war on terrorism without letup - so far beating Washington at its dirty game, partnered with an array of NATO rogue states and Saudi-led regional despots.
