Go away Ron Paul, be gone with you.

You paved the way for eight years of Obama, shame on you.

Take the money and run, far away.

who is Ron Paul's VIABLE alternative?

also, I am still upset that RP never challenged the proven vote fraud perpetrated against him or what the establishment Rs did to him at the Houston Convention.

He speaks against interventionist foreign policy and the FedRes, but avoids talking about the corrupted and phoney election process in this country.

and, of course, never speaks up about the Official 9/11 LIE. He knows it was an Inside Job.

Rand Paul sided with Monsanto and voted to make GMO labeling at the state level illegal. So much for him.

Christine...

Ron Paul was and is a fraud.

Recall his Trotsky memo??? "I am a republican til the day I die"?????

Now he comes out against the one candidate that the REPUBLICAN PARTY DOES NOT AND CANNOT OWN?????????

What more do people need to understand this man?

Spot-on correct! he never challenged the primary frauds when he was clearly the favorite (by far) candidate.

I'm not sure why he's interjecting himself in this year's contest.

I can only speculate as to why he didn't address the voter fraud issue. He probably knew from the getgo that the PTB wouldn't allow him to get to the general election fairly. His purpose was to educate and raise awareness of the effects of government policies. Had he raised a stink about fraud in the primaries, the media would have painted him as a conspiracy kook and ignored anything else he would have to say.

As for the alternative to Trump, he is backing Rand, warts and all, if only because family trumps other matters.

In the case of Trump, he will probably be subjected to the same sort of shenanigans as Ron was. But Trump's ego being what it is, will likely not take it in stride as his agenda in campaigning is different than that of Ron.

I'm actually hoping the system throws everything they have at him and that he fights and defies them every step of the way, so that the voting public at large finally wakes up to just how crooked and corrupt the electoral system is.

John Howard says: There are 4 schools of economics:
Marxism: steal everything
Keynesianism: steal by counterfeiting whenever needed
Chicago school (Milton Friedman): steal by counterfeiting at a steady, predictable rate
Austrians: don't steal

The following was published years ago completely without commentary, and is simply Pauls own statements on the matter. LoL. TRULY a classic compilation, its even been featured on mainstream GOP neocon sites.

(That said, everything Ron says about trump is true.

So what? He is defending his son's campaign. Ron Paul was an empty suit. He never did anything that was effective in his whole political life. I voted for him whenever he ran for President. But looking back I now see it as a waste.

t. He never did anything that was effective in his whole political life.

I would beg to differ on that one. Sure, he has his faults, but I think ron educated and inspired millions of people in the subject of liberty & proper govt. He also spoke out on the fed, the wars, the cia drug running, when no one else would. For that at least, he deserves credit.

If Ron Paul had been blessed with Trump's aggressive spirit and attitude, he very well could have been potus. Looking back, I'm not sure that he wanted the gig...

He did that and much, much more. This quaint custom people have of trashing a rightist leader's whole self because they're not perfect (or anywhere close to it) is another great way to make sure we never win.

I've always said that all we had to do to conquer was take everything gliberals do and turn it around on them. Still stands, but some people would rather sit in the same old position breathing the same old air and argue about how many angels can dance on the head of a pin -- er, I mean, whether Trump is "good" or "bad" or Ron is "good" or "bad". We all have good and bad in us -- anybody who thinks otherwise should get themselves under the same media and patriot spotlight these leaders are in.

There is only one way to determine what Trump's made of -- see what happens. It will never be ratiocinated here. Meanwhile, What's the alternative to him anyway? If GOP voters ALLOWED the Party to steal the nomination from Dr. Paul, who's really at fault? Lots of people, including the millions of dumb GOPers who spent Paul's entire campaign(s) saying "well, we have to have somebody electable" and then gladly pulled the lever for Romney!
