Russia is accused of killing journalists. Looks like (I watched half) they're accusing a German TV station of faking the killings to damage Putin and attempting to document that it's so.

Pity a country as stupid as our'n -- if not for our messianic conceits we could have spent the past 150 years happily ignorant of the EXISTENCE of Russia, German, Ukraine, Palestine, Syria, Pakistan, Libya, ad inf.

Imperial Japan, Saddam, Osama, Wake, Mindanao, Normandy, Inchon, Bataan, River Kwai, Haiphong, My Lai -- these and infinitely more would ALL have remained ENTIRELY other people's business IF WE HAD ONLY LET THEM.
