Take A Look At The Other Side Of Chevrolet’s Danica Patrick

You may be familiar with Chevy driver, Danica Patrick. If you haven’t heard of her, she is the spokesperson for the most successful website hosting company today, GoDaddy. She is also a race car driver. Impressively, she is the most successful female driver in the history of open-wheel racing in America. Throughout her career, she has had a great number of successes that has made her who she is today. She began her career as a model and it did not take her long to land the GoDaddy gig which launched her into the spotlight. Once she became the spokesperson for GoDaddy, she could be seen on TV all the time, especially during sports games. While she broke onto the scene with modeling, she had been racing since she was 10 years old. She has been competing ever since and is now the first woman to race in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.

In addition to that amazing achievement, she also has hosted some shows on Spike TV and was named the most popular driver in the NASCAR Nationwide series in 2012. She has done amazing things in her life and she is only 33 years old. In 2014, Danica participated in an “At Google” talk. It was part of a Women at Google series. She decided to do the series because she is a woman that is in a male dominated field. She is the only female driver for NASCAR. Not only that, but she is good at racing. During the talk, she spoke about how she was able to get to where she was against all of the odds that were set against her. She also spoke about women’s equality and that they should have the same rights in the workplace as well as other environments. She stated that she hoped her story would encourage others. It is important to aim high and then go after your goals, as was the main point of her discussion. Her “At Google” talk was met with great reviews. She was well recieved and her message was more than just words of encouragement; it was encouragement plus the proof that you really can do what you want to d in life if you work for it. Google is the biggest and most well-known website search engine in the world. Google noted that Danica was the most searched for athlete at the time of the Google “At Talk.” Maybe this is why so many companies like Google want Danica to speak about their story.

However, there is more to it than that. She is a popular name and will get hits on search engines but she also has something interesting to say. She has a great story with an important message behind it which makes her attractive to companies like Google… In 2009, Danica was on the cover of Shape magazine and also participated in an interview with the major publication. She showed off her great body but still had a great message behind it. She offered some tips for getting in shape as well as following your passion. Danica spoke about how much she loved driving for Chevrolet in the article.

She decide to do the piece because it was another opportunity for her to encourage her fans to be the best they can be. She enjoyed the experience because she got to speak about something she doesn’t always comment on: being healthy. Her fans loved the piece so much because she was very down to earth and someone they could relate to.

Danica Patrick has been focusing a lot on her racing career as of late but we can be sure that we will see more of her in the future. It does not seem as though we will see her in the GoDaddy commercials anymore either since her contract is coming to a close with them but you really never know. The future is really bright for her and she shows no sign of slowing down now, both in her races and in her professional life.

Danica Patrick is a very inspirational person with a great story. She broke into a man’s field and has taken it by storm. She is a favorite among fans and always has something inspirational to say. She is a person that should be watched because she has great things happening in her future if her past is any indication.

Debateable.....Sarah Fisher was the first woman to win a pole in Indycar, Sarah Fisher still holds the record for the fastest lap at Indianapolis for a woman and Sarah Fisher still holds the track record at Kentucky Speedway. She also owns a competetive race team in the Indycar series while Danica is relegated to being a back marker in NASCAR

If you say so. I really do not follow NASCAR. But Danica sure is a good looker. ;)
