In it, Raza, who is a Sunni Muslim and the president of the group Muslims Facing Tomorrow, takes a closer look at the numbers of Muslims worldwide who hold what we in America would consider to be radical beliefs. She does this to shed light on the lie that has been perpetuated by political correctness that consistently tries to shut down any and all discussion of how we can deal with the threat of radical Islam. For example, weve heard from our president and Hillary Clinton repeatedly how 99.9% of all Muslims are peaceful. Raza challenges this statement and others like it not because she hates Islam, but precisely because she doesnt want the religion she loves to be taken over by the radicals and terrorists. Raza plays a clip of the actor Ben Affleck arguing on Bill Mahers talk show about how saying things like radical Islamic terrorists is a hateful and racist thing to say. Raza then points out, Well, Im a Muslim and I dont need Ben Affleck defending me and my religion. I appreciate it, but I dont need celebrities defending me from talk show hosts. I need to be defended from the radicals in my own religion who want me dead. Radical Islamists who behead people, set them on fire, pour battery acid on womens faces, murder people in the name of my God. Radicals who want to take over the world in the name of my religion. So lets get real and look at some numbers. Today, there are around 1.6 billion Muslims in the world. In fact, Islam is the worlds fastest growing religion. And according to Pew Research, it will surpass Christianity this century. Now, obviously, not all Muslims are radical, but a certain percentage are. Sam Harris helps break it down for Ben Affleck and for all of us: As you say, we have 1.5, 1.6 billion Muslims
just imagine some concentric circles. At the center you have jihadists these are people who wake up in the morning wanting to kill apostates, wanting to die trying
Thats the first circle of radicalism, violent jihadists like ISIS, Al Qaeda, Boko Haram, Hezbollah, Hamas, and various lone wolves. These are the jihadists who murder people, Raza states. There are anywhere from 40,000 to 200,000 Muslims involved in fighting for ISIS across the world. spheres of radicalization The next circle is the Islamists. These are people just as convinced of martyrdom and paradise and wanting to foist their religion on the rest of humanity, Harris tells Affleck. But they want to work within the system, theyre not going to blow themselves up on a bus. They want to change governments, they want to use democracy against itself
Raza continues, Islamists want many of the same thing as jihadists, its just that their tactics differ. So, instead of engaging in terror themselves, they use the political and cultural system to further their aims. Take Gaza, for example. In 2006 Palestinians voted Hamas into power. Hamas is a radical terrorist group that used democracy to gain legitimacy and political power. Also included in this circle are a large number of Egyptians who in 2012 elected the Muslim Brotherhood into power. The Muslim Brotherhood was formed in Cairo in 1928. Its known as the progenitor of modern political Islam and has a stated goal of establishing a global caliphate or Islamic state run in accordance with Sharia law. While the Muslim Brotherhood is primarily a political organization, it has spawned many terrorist groups around the world, including Al Qaeda, Hamas, and others. Although distinct from the groups we just described, there is an organization here in North America called CAIR, which the Department of Justice said is or was a member of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood. CAIR presents itself as a moderate civil rights group representing the interests of Muslims in America. Yet, when you look a little closer, many disturbing things start to emerge. The U.A.E. has listed CAIR as a terrorist organization, right alongside ISIS and Al Qaeda. And in the United States, CAIR was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in a major terror funding trial. Groups like CAIR try to silence people like myself and others who dare to speak out about radical Islam. Case in point, a film I was in featuring nine women who spoke out against barbaric treatment of women by radical Islamists, got shut down. Why would CAIR want to shut down this film? Thats what they do, they try to shut down debate by crying Islamophobia. The third sphere of radicalization is the fundamentalists. These are not like ISIS and they are not working to overthrow governments, like the Muslim Brotherhood, but they do hold beliefs and practices that no doubt will seem radical to you and me. In 2013, Pew Research released a comprehensive study based on interviews with Muslims in 39 countries. muslims want sharia The research revealed that an average of 27% of all Muslims believe that apostates (people who leave Islam) should be executed. That translates into about 237 million Muslims worldwide. 39% of all Muslims believe that honor killings can be a justifiable punishment for a woman who has had pre- or extramarital sex. That is equivalent to 345 million Muslims who believe honor killings can be justified. muslims want stoning Of course, not every Muslim believes in these things, but hundreds of millions do. The numbers are right here for all to see. Its time for an honest conversation about one of the most important issues of our time. By silencing the debate about radical Islamist beliefs, we abandon our own core beliefs in truth, free speech, and tolerance and we abandon human rights in favor of political correctness. Other startling statistics that Raza gave include the number of young, Western Muslims who believe that suicide bombing is justifiable. western muslims The frightening thing that Raza makes clear is that radical Islam is not a small, insignificant thing. Many in government would have us believe that we should only be concerned with those who carry out violence in the name of jihad, but as Raza points out, there are other things we should be concerned about, as well. Millions and millions of Muslims hold strong beliefs that are in direct contradiction with the principles that we as Americans hold dear. We should not be letting the cancer of political correctness cloud our judgment because that could be the very thing that allows the Islamists and fundamentalists to grab a foothold here in this country. What do you think about the numbers that Raza puts forward? Do you find them shocking or surprising? Poster Comment: This is one of the most important parts of the article: For example, weve heard from our president and Hillary Clinton repeatedly how 99.9% of all Muslims are peaceful. BS. Hezbollah are not terrorists. They are dying killing US backed terrorists in Syria. The bad Muslims are Wahhabis from Saudi Arabia. They were founded by a converted Jew Ibn Wahhab. The Saudi royal family was Jewish when the Brits put them on the throne. 80% of Muslims are not Wahhabis. The Saudi royals pay for mosques to be built in the West. WE should stop that. The Egyptians voted for a man they thought would campaign against usury. That would be our equivalent of someone who is against the Federal Reserve.
Islam is a bizarre, satanic, cult begun around 622AD by a sick, murderous, pedophile.
