Lemmy — a.k.a. Ian Fraser Kilmister of the band Motörhead — has died at the age of 70 according to reports. Little else is known about the legendary rocker’s death at this time, but SPIN has reached out to Motörhead’s reps for confirmation and comment.

I knew a plumber in Chicago that could drink like a sailor, probably because he was a sailor during WW II. He would drink a quart of whiskey every day. One day he just quit like throwing a light switch. He is dead a long time now.
He built a lot of those buildings on Lake Shore Drive and Sheridan Road. He would run 30 and 40 man gangs. It took a lot to do all of it, a lot of stress and so on.
Glad it was not me. I drove the big truck for many years and I have a little trouble recalling it because of the meningitis. It is coming back to me slowly. ;)
