Pierce Dec 30, 2015 Marco Rubio, still waiting out there for the surge in the polls that he and many pundits know is coming, hitched up the big-boy foreign policy pants again in order to accuse the president of being indifferent to America's rightful place atop the imperial food chain. Or something. The subject was Afghanistan, a country that's been in a handbasket halfway to hell since Alexander the Great. Here are the words young Marco said to Fox News coiffure Anna Kooiman. The campaign is so proud of these words that it emailed them to me, personally. Well, first of all, that's one more example of why Barack Obama is a disastrous president, especially on foreign policy. This is part of his strategy of retreating from the world, of accepting America as a weaker country and having less influence. His retreat from Afghanistan prematurely is what's created this opening. And by the way, it's not just Al Qaeda. ISIS is growing in Afghanistan. It's been under-reported but ISIS' presence is growing in Afghanistan, as well. They are also in a competition with the Taliban to recruit fighters over. What we're going to do is target terrorists anywhere in the world they are found. We are going to rebuild our military. If there are terrorist camps that are plotting against America, we will find them and we will destroy them. And if we capture these terrorists alive, they're getting a one-way ticket to Guantanamo, and in Guantanamo they're going to tell us everything they know about plots past, present, and the ones they're planning for the future. Is there anything in that pile of words that will make the situation better, and not worse? Reopen the waterboards, this time at Gitmo? Back to war crimes! That'll help. And I am particularly amused by his use of the word "prematurely." The United States was making war in Afghanistan for longer than it had made war in any place ever in its history. The United States was in Afghanistan for over 2000 American lives. Is Rubio calling for an open-ended commitment of massive American arms and personnel? And if, somehow, the Taliban and al Qaeda and Daesh all start squabbling with each other, is that a bad thing? (Forget it, Jake, it's Afghanistan.) Young Marco has gone full neocon. I'd call him callow, if that wasn't allowing him too much dignity. Poster Comment: And I thought that Rubio was OK. Just goes to show how wrong we can be.

Now now, team -- heh heh! Be nice! Great laffs there, and all true -- but isn't it great to see it appearing in ESQUIRE, one of the world's worst, most brainless/heartless/soulless mags? That's the new part -- suddenly Esqure CARES? Allow me the painful pleasure of summing up the issue, B -- they are ALL atrocious, stinking, FILTHY SWINE neocons -- except Trump, and I'm not all that sure about him. Nature abhors a strate line, and for them ALL to have the EXACT same agenda which is the TOTAL opposite of true conservatism, that's a big little pattern all right. "Proofs of a Conspiracy"......
