New China House in Lititz, Pa. was handed 18 violations and ruled out of compliance by the Pennsylvania Game Commission earlier this month for having deer heads and brains on the restaurant’s premises, among other infractions, according to the state’s department of agriculture website. But the restaurant remained open for business on Thursday, despite the game commission’s ongoing investigation. The establishment’s owner, Chun, said that the deer parts were for soup he was going to make for him and his wife — not for customers, according to PennLive. “We don’t sell deer meat,” he said. Along with the deer brains and heads, inspectors also found “skinned and whole tails, legs, muscle meat, spines, necks and other unidentifiable parts both raw and cooked” in the establishment during the inspection on Dec. 16, which was an emergency response to a confidential tip..........

Back in the mid '90s I was always hoping that Barney the Purple Dinosaur would haplessly stroll down an alley behind a Chinese restaurant.
What is the problem with a bit of venison? This boils down to an issue of location. Had this restaurant set up shot in Montana, nobody would care.

Deer brain....far better for human consumption that farm raised bovine and chicken. Hormone free, free range venison brain trumps that hormone laden antibiotic laden franken meat every day of the week!! Set the Chinaman free!

Every ounce superior in content to your supermarket chicken and bovine. You know, in the great depression, road kill was not a bad thing. : ) Although, I have never heard a good report regarding skunk. Armadillo, on the other hand, tastes like chicken. Roadkill.
