This Photo of Drunk People in Manchester on NYE is a Masterpiece

It fits the golden ratio.

Like the frozen, drunken chaos of Bruegel in the mid-1500s, or the crowded, frantic scenes of Where's Waldo?, this photo of hammered people on New Year's Eve in Manchester is like a stunning piece of classic fine art. The poise of the guy, belly half exposed, reaching for his beer, with his arm leading you to the only subject of the painting looking at the camera. The still struggle in the foreground, never being resolved as the woman in the red dress exerts the frustration, anger, and fear of a partner getting too messed up and arrested. Then, the crowd of onlookers in the back, like us, they take the entire scene in.
