True but admitting a great number of foreigners will add to their problems rather than reduce them.
Japan also has a declining population but they will not admit many immigrants. In fact, they don't even like full-blooded repatriated Japanese who emigrated a few generations ago and now want to come back. Robots are their answer.

When I was a kid in Chicago, I went to grade school with this Japanese-American. His mother was Japanese. I never met his father, but I assume that he may have been a serviceman during the Korean War. He was really smart, and left handed too, as are most of them. He married a white girl on the South Side. I delivered a flower piece to his inlaws home when I was doing that to make a few bucks. ;)
