Not quite, but Obummer has created more debt than all the other Presidents put together. They cannot continue at this pace forever, and we may well fall into another great depression. You are posting to a person that lived during and survived the great depression. Was hungry 24/7, worked as a child for 25 cents a day. We were at the very bottom of the social ladder, scorned by those above. Took one big war to bring it to an end. We were the first to go, expendable trash perhaps.
I know you did. And God bless for your strength and courage to have survived it. We are all that much wealthier for it. Right now, the banksters are afraid of another such event. And the recession we have been in will deepen. Jobs are scarce and so are most types of items that we need to survive. It took a world war to end the last wall street crash. I fear for the young today that they will see a rerun. This country will collapse, we are living on borrowed money and borrowed time.
I thought the "day of reckoning" was supposed to be last September (or was it the year before that?). It may well come eventually, but I'm skeptical of any precise predictions.
