The famous African-American outspoken conservative has made himself an enemy of the liberal class seeking to monopolize minorities and other proposed victim classes. Well, Mr. Clarke’s comments the other day putting down the President’s latest gun grab efforts will surely make him even less popular with the ‘anti-gunners.’ According to teaparty.org: "The maverick lawman was at it again during an appearance Wednesday on Fox News‘ “Hannity,” where he smacked down the gun control push by President Barack Obama and the Democrat Party with just three words. “There is a rival group to the National Rifle Association. It’s called the Democratic Party,” Sheriff Clarke said. “They are anti-gun bigots. They are utterly intolerant of anyone else’s view … when it comes to the Second Amendment, the shooting sports and self-defense.” "Clarke said the problem wasn’t law-abiding gun owners, but rather criminals who buy guns illegally. According to Clarke, though, there’s a major reason why the president won’t admit this: most of the men who commit these crimes are “underclass, young, black males.” “And he doesn’t want to do that,” Clarke said. "Of course, saying something like that would jeopardize Barack Obama’s studied liberalism. It’s a lot easier for him to unconstitutionally bypass Congress and try to unilaterally impose gun control regulation that wouldn’t have stopped any of the mass shootings it was purportedly designed to prevent. "Indeed, it doesn’t really do anything at all, but simply makes it harder for law-abiding Americans to exercise their constitutional rights. "And, if America still remains skeptical, why not throw in some pre-planned tears? After all, when reason won’t work, appeal to emotion. "None of this will solve America’s crime problem, because Barack Obama and his liberal cronies are too politically correct to do anything real about it. That’s why we need brave men and women like Sheriff Clarke to extricate us from this liberal mess." It’s interesting that most articles covering the President’s proposed actions declare that none of the actions would have prevented any of the shootings Mr. Obama mentions. I guess it’s another example of liberals not letting the truth get in the way of their story. And Sheriff Clarke, regardless of his race, is a true American hero. He’s someone who has taken an oath, and is willing to risk life and limb to defend it. And he’s smart and well-spoken. Too bad more politicians don’t follow his example.
