These guys put in establishment terms, in essence terms of a complete charade, what is not really what it seems.
This is why so many of these predictions are wrong.
i.e., it's not good analysis to take something that is a charade, such as our economy, one that most people are unaware of, the reasons notwithstanding, use faulty indicators (aka charade indicators), to attempt to explain the reality of it that most people do not understand anyway, although that being irrelevant.
If one is going to talk about reality then the real elements, the taboo/verboten elements, must be discussed. But attempting to take something, in this case an economy, that in any lesser context (such as personal finance) would have ceased to function decades ago, and explain how/why it's going to collapse/crash based on things/indicators in territory where we've been before, it makes no sense.
They perps of the charade know full well that they can make up sheer and utter nonsense, permeate teh mainstream "news" air/cable waves with it, and that most people are going to buy it. They may become involved in a terminal battle of one variety or another with people that think differently than they do, but at the end of the day all of the people believe in the faulty premises regardless of which "side" of the charade they are on. ... and not that there are necessarily two sides as it could be a two-dimensional continuum of thought.
I'll bet us all anything that by the end of the year it won't have been any different than this recent year end. These predictions have been going on for over a decade.
