"The establishment Democrats are not going to accept Sanders," he said The Democratic establishment is likely in talks with John Kerry – and Joe Biden again – to enter the presidential race against Hillary if the Emailgate scandal gets worse, according to Dr. Ron Paul. The former congressman said there’s still time for a new candidate to enter considering that during the 1968 race, Democratic frontrunner Lyndon B. Johnson dropped out on March 31, a little over seven months before the Nov. 5 election. “I bet [the chances] are better than 50/50 they’re going to need somebody else because the establishment Democrats are not going to accept Sanders,” Dr. Paul said. “It looks like right now it must be really, really bad if they’re going to dump an establishment person like Hillary.” “So I bet they’re doing a lot of thinking and a lot of talking… whether it’s Kerry, Biden, or who knows, maybe somebody else.”
