You know, it's funny but just last night "my" love cat (actually hating partner's) gave met this exact routine, except she was no longer staring me in the eye. Animals mainly don't do that, but she was sitting in my lap facing me after I'd petted her to nirvana and her eyes slowly closed to dreamy nothingness. If the WTF site says this means "ILY" I guess I'll take it to the bank -- of course a squirrel from my front yard did so too once. He adopted me for a day and acted just like a kitty! Once another cat that adopted me was lying in my lap blissing out and just got up, licked each of my cheeks once and lay back down. There are cats that actually love you and even show it sometimes. Another WTFFunFact told us of course that our cats consider us oppressors and try to hatch plans to kill us :-) Am convinced what most of them want most is an ear job -- fondle them every which way, pull them, pinch them shut, and as needed stick a napkin down there and wipe any oily buildup out. Not too far down of course! I get quite rough on this one's ears and nabering areas -- always slowly -- but she always motions for more. Cat "B" above once started acting coocoo and bedeviled turned out he had ear mites. One shot at the vet's took care of it. Ya got me going -- just when I needed a break from writing my editorial for the next Conservative Action Report. I'm blasting SC Gov. I've been cat sitting for a neighbor for the past week and finally got the eye blink but I think she still hates me. One of my cats has perpetual ear gunk in one ear only and is not happy when I clean it out. Not ear mites or the other cat would have them too.

I know a guy in Illinois that is a Class 3 manufacturer. He makes Austrian-style .308 rifles. He was in business with this one guy and he tried to take over the business. He kicked him out. I've never taken the one with the ear gunk to the vet. She was rescued from kitty death row and i expect she was there for annoying health problems. Otherwise she is beautiful and placid. I don't want some vet deciding to fix her problems as both she and I have lived with them for years :-) She is known as "the fat cat" simply because she is long-haired and eats a little more than the other. The other one I did take to the vet when she stopped eating and the vets at the cat hospital were useless. All they wanted was to perform tests. Got a reference for another vet and he was a prince. Found out the poor girl had an abscessed tooth. Took her a while and several more visits to get her right again but I loved this guy and he loved my cat. She is known as "the small cat" although I think she is taller than fat cat and now probably weighs more.

Heavy metal brings back some fond memories of my younger days in Chicago. Thanks, Dak. Security was a tough job to do for extra money, but I was good at it. ;)
