So I was reading the other day and I read that the pope francis was condemning Trump as a non Christian. and even though I don't like trumps attitudes or politics or character .....He claims Christianity... so he is. And that's that. It is not on us to judge. That is on the one... and the pope is not the one. For me I don't believe their is any such thing as a false Christian. As a Christian the first thing to admit to is being a failure. A fuck up. A sight fallen short from the glory and order of god... Hence the intrinsic need for a savior. Now some folks may carry on better than other...truth be told my worst fear is being luke warm. I think too many are luke warm and It concerns me that I too may fall into that trap...but this judgement of the pope compels me to speak... Because who the heck does he think he is? Did the other retired pope agree with him? Will he retire too... is papalcy now something of a career choice with pension benefits? Wheres the faith?
And this man... This human flawed fuck up just as any of us dares to judge another...TO err is human.... To forgive is divine. I can forgive the act judgement but I will never condone it.... THe pope simply has not right to judge... He is acting as if he sits on the kings throne when he does not. Trump may be a shaddy low brow character but his faith and his commitment to his faith is not ours to judge... And woe to that false judge for I would not want to sit in his shoes come judgement day.
