Many Democrats will tell you that there has rarely, if ever, been a more menacing or evil presidential candidate than Donald Trump. “Trump is the most dangerous major candidate for president in memory,” pronounced Vox‘s Ezra Klein two weeks ago. With a consensus now emerging that the real estate mogul is the likely GOP nominee, it would stand to reason that the most important factor for many Democrats in choosing their own nominee is electability: meaning, who has the best chance of defeating the GOP Satan in the general election? In light of that, can Democrats really afford to take such a risky gamble by nominating Hillary Clinton? In virtually every poll, her rival, Bernie Sanders, does better, often much better, in head-to-head match-ups against every possible GOP candidate. Here, for instance, is a compilation of how Clinton does against Ted Cruz in recent polls: she trails the Texas Senator in all but one poll, and in the one poll she leads, it is by a paltry 2 points:

The Democratic Party will force Clinton the nomination even if Sanders wins every primary from here on out. There is no escaping the super-delegates. It isn't clear if Greenwald is actually advocating for Clinton or not. Assuming that Trump survives the GOP convention shenanigans, come the general election Trump will probably lose to Clinton by the narrowest of margins since both GOP and Dem elites don't want Trump, though many Dem voters will vote for Trump as an "anyone but Hillary" vote. Whatever the outcome of the election, there will be a heap of voter discontent to follow. Much worse than after Obama became president. Does Jezebel still have the power to rig a national election with all this turmoil going on? I fear it's so.
She can rig the nomination but I don't know if she can swing the national election unless it becomes close.

The suggestion would make sense if people were logical. However, only 5% of the people are logical thinkers. The other 95% are emotional or they go by what feels right.

Keynesianism: steal by counterfeiting whenever needed
Chicago school (Milton Friedman): steal by counterfeiting at a steady, predictable rate
