War, War, War See other War, War, War Articles Title: Obama and Netanyahu Intend Undermining Ceasefire in Syria Obama and Netanyahu Intend Undermining Ceasefire in Syria by Stephen Lendman Washington and Israel jointly instigated and manipulated early 2011 anti-government demonstrations in Syria - used as a pretext for Obama’s war to follow. Netanyahu wants a regional rival eliminated, Iran isolated ahead of undermining its sovereignty - part of a grand US/Israeli scheme to redraw the Middle East map, creating powerless, easily exploited, mini-states. Russia’s effective anti-terrorism campaign foiled US/Israeli plans. Western and Israeli news reports about Netanyahu welcoming ceasefire in Syria are pure rubbish. In remarks before his weekly cabinet meeting, he lied saying “(a)nything that stops the terrible killing there is important, especially from a humanitarian standpoint.” He’s a world-class thug, a notorious Arab-hater, waging terror-war on defenseless Palestinians, murdering them in cold blood, torturing them in confinement, wanting all valued parts of Judea and Samaria exclusively for Jews - including expanding Israel’s undefined borders to include more Syrian territory than already. He blasted Iran irresponsibly, earlier threatening war, on Sunday saying “any agreement in Syria must include a halt to Iran’s (nonexistent) aggression toward Israel from Syrian territory.” “We will not agree to the supply of advanced weaponry to Hezbollah from Syria and Lebanon. We will not agree to the creation of a (nonexistent) second terror front on the Golan Heights. These are the red lines that we have set and they remain the red lines of the State of Israel.” His regime is the region’s leading menace, its agenda making peace and stability unachievable. Iran hasn’t attacked another country in centuries. It threatens none now. It’s Israel’s main regional rival. Lunatics in Tel Aviv want unchallenged control. Iranian sovereign independence prevents it. The road to Tehran runs through Damascus. US/Israeli-instigated war on Syria wants one rival eliminated before targeting another. Plans of both countries remain firm. Ceasefire is pure illusion, dead on arrival before implemented. So are peace talks if begun. Washington and Israel want war. Expect ceasefire and conflict resolution efforts to be systematically undermined, Moscow and Damascus wrongfully blamed, a recklessly dangerous strategy if implemented. Russia’s war on terrorism in Syria includes forcefully addressing any threat to its personnel and aerial campaign. If attacked or endangered, it’ll respond appropriately. Challenging it risks direct confrontation. What dirty strategies and tactics Washington and Israel intend next remain to be seen - peace and stability for sure off the table.
