Dead Constitution See other Dead Constitution Articles Title: America's Diabolical Agenda America’s Diabolical Agenda by Stephen Lendman Bipartisan lunatics infesting Washington and gunslinger Pentagon commanders represent the greatest threat to world peace, international law, democratic values and fundamental rights too vital to lose. Wealth, power and unchallenged dominance alone matter, popular interests be damned, social justice and fundamental freedoms on the chopping block for elimination. Whichever wing of America’s one-party state prevails in November, ordinary people lose, issues mattering most to them ignored. Washington’s geopolitical agenda should scare everyone. All sovereign independent countries are targeted for regime change, premeditated aggression America’s strategy of choice - victims consistently blamed for its high crimes. Rage for dominance means eliminating all potential rivals, notably Russia and China, the final frontier challenging America diabolical agenda. Washington fears Sino/Russian unity most of all, China an economic powerhouse, Russia able to match Washington’s military might. Bipartisan neocons consider both countries existential threats to unchallenged US world dominance - perhaps willing to risk destroying planet earth to transform them into US vassal states. During March 8 testimony before Senate Armed Services members, head of US Central Command (CENTCOM) General Lloyd Austin bashed Iran irresponsibly - calling the Islamic Republic the greatest threat to “mid-to-longterm stability in the region.” “Iran maintains hegemonic ambitions and will continue to pose a threat to the region. Our relationship with Iran remains a challenging one.” “We will continue to pay close attention to their actions, while supporting our regional partners and helping them to improve their capacity to counter Iran and mitigate the effects of Iran’s malign activity in the region.” Iran hasn’t attacked another country in centuries. It threatens none now, urges cooperative relations with all nations, prioritizes peace and stability - anathema to US policymakers. America is an unprecedented global menace, waging endless wars on humanity, deploying death squads globally, using ISIS and other terrorist groups to serve its imperial interests, hardening homeland tyranny. Muslims, African-Americans, Latinos, environmental and animal rights activists, human rights defenders, independent journalists, truth-tellers and whistleblowers are hugely at risk. A previous article discussed deranged NATO Commander General Philip Breedlove, calling him a menacingly anti-Russian psychopath, his finger on the nuclear trigger in Europe. He urges greater militarization of the continent than already to counter Russia, a nonexistent “adversary pos(ing) a longterm existential threat to the United States.” He claims Russia’s effective anti-terrorist aerial Syria campaign “weaponized” the refugee crisis, a Kremlin plot to flood Europe with hoards of people. He wants greater numbers of US combat troops deployed near Russia’s borders. Maybe he wants WW III. Gunslinger generals and bipartisan lunatics infesting Washington risk the unthinkable - potential life on earth ending nuclear war. The possibility should terrify everyone.
