Trump Just Hired a New Senior Policy Adviser And It Has Rubio Sweating
Chris Christie surprised a lot of voters when he came out in support of Donald Trump during a Fort Worth rally the day after the latest GOP debate.
In another surprise move, Trump just made New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie the Senior Policy Adviser for his presidential campaign.
As CNN has reported, Christie already has plans to “walk through policy disagreements with him.”
The fact that Christie is now advising Trump should have Marco Rubio sweating through his Huggies. As the amnesty-loving Rubio found out in a previous debate, going up against Christie is no cakewalk.
Trump and Christie still have a few policy issues to clear up between them, as the two have disagreed on Trump’s proposed temporary halt on Muslim immigration and Christie’s desire to raise the age that people can begin collecting Social Security benefits.
Christie clearly intends to work with Trump, however, as he announced that, “I will lend my support between now and November in any way for Donald.”
