Bernie Sanders Just Made a Silly Move that BACKFIRED Immeditately While Bernie Sanders was in Detroit campaigning recently, he was must have been struck by the wretched economic situation that has left the once-great city in shambles. In an attempt to try to point out how dire the situation is, the Democratic presidential candidate decided to tweet about the contrast between the Detroit of the 1960s and the Detroit of today.
As you might imagine, it didn’t go well.
The one thing that Bernie failed to mention? That Detroit has been run entirely by Democrats since the 1960s. Oops. Twitter didn’t forget, however. The people were only too happy to point out the facts to the old guy.
