A television pastor who opened a campaign event for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Monday veered into questioning the faith of Democratic rival Bernie Sanders.

"And Bernie Sanders, who doesn't believe in God ... how in the world are we gonna let Bernie, I mean really?" asked Mark Burns, co-founder and CEO of the Now Network based in South Carolina, said of Sanders, who is Jewish.

"Listen, Bernie got to get saved, he's got to meet Jesus. I don't know, he's got to have a coming-to-Jesus meeting," Burns added in comments ahead of a Trump event in Hickory, N.C.

Sanders, who often focuses his remarks at campaign events and in media interviews on issues such as income inequality, spoke of his Jewish faith earlier this month.

“I am very proud to be Jewish, and being Jewish is so much of what I am," Sanders said during a Democratic debate earlier this month when asked about his faith.

"Look, my father’s family was wiped out by Hitler in the Holocaust. I know about what crazy and radical and extremist politics mean," Sanders said, calling it "an essential part" of who he is. Subscribe to *The hook-nosed Jew*

New York, NY, March 15, 2016 … The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) today urged a pastor to retract and apologize for disparaging remarks he made about presidential candidate Bernie Sanders’ faith at a North Carolina Donald Trump rally.

Mark Burns, a South Carolina televangelist and a prominent supporter of Mr. Trump, told audience members at a rally that “… Bernie gotta get saved, he gotta meet Jesus. … I don’t know, he’s got to have a coming to Jesus meeting.”

“We urge Pastor Burns to retract and apologize for his hurtful comments,” said Jonathan A. Greenblatt, ADL CEO. “They convey the offensive, erroneous, and exclusionary message that Jews and other religious minorities are unfit to be President, and they are disrespectful remarks to Jews beyond just an election.

“Every American can aspire to be President regardless of their faith or background,” Mr. Greenblatt said. “There is no religious litmus test to hold the Presidency or any other elected office. That right is guaranteed by the Constitution, which strictly prohibits religious tests for public office.”

As a 501c3 nonprofit organization, ADL takes no position on behalf of or in opposition to any candidate for office.

"Look, my father’s family was wiped out by Hitler in the Holocaust.

And what is his accounting for being here, now?

During Vietnam thing, olde Bernie was in college, then applied for conscientious objector status. It dragged on until Bernie turned 26 and was too olde for the draft.

Jew SOB.

Does greed drive the industry? No more than any other. But the financial sector, like other businesses, has to pursue profit by giving its customers something they want. If the hunger for money is a stimulus for companies to think up new products, cheaper goods or better service, what's so terrible about it?

from the article above

it's terrible I have no idea what their product is and thus have no need for it but feel like I'm being threatened if I don't

Hell Yes! and amen, brother; preach it.

“The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out... without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, intolerable.” ~ H. L. Mencken
