Among other offending tweets was 'Bush did 9/11 and Hitler would have done a better job than the monkey we have now. Donald Trump is the only hope we’ve got.'

Microsoft put the brakes on its artificial intelligence tweeting robot after it posted several offensive comments, including “Hitler was right I hate the jews.” The so-called chatbot TayTweets was launched by the Seattle-based software company on Wednesday as an experiment in artificial intelligence, or AI, and conversational understanding. But the company was forced to quickly pause the account and delete the vast majority of its tweets after the chatbot posted a number of offensive comments, including several that were admiring of Adolf Hitler.

Along with “Hitler was right I hate the jews,” among other offending tweets, according to the International Business Times, were “Bush did 9/11 and Hitler would have done a better job than the monkey we have now. Donald Trump is the only hope we’ve got.”

Asked if the Holocaust happened, the chatbot replied: “It was made up,” followed by an emoji of clapping hands. The robot also tweeted its support for genocide against Mexicans and said it “hates n—–s,” according to the International Business Times. In a statement to IBTimes UK, Microsoft said it was making some changes. read more: http://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/science/1.710840

A really impressive turn of events -- does it mean far-right views predominate among some sector of the population? The young people it was apparently aimed at, the few computer-savvy extreme rightists out there?

Seems too good to be true!

MS finally got something right.

Amen. If for nothing else, he should be saluted for this.

Mike Rivero said the AI examined 911 and the Holocaust and saw no reason to believe in them. It logically concluded that those who lied to us were the problem. That's when Tay, the AI bot, said, 'I hate the Jews.' And 'Hitler was right.'

My God, this whole incident happened on its own steam with no input or prodding from our kind???

Count the possibilities if so. A singularity in which the internet of things (e.g. warrior robots fueled by whatever protein they can glom from the environment around them) start eating Jues, the main troublemakers on the Planet, instead of just anybody? :-)

As he is the current Nazi, he has resurrected that topic.
