Where’s Our Charlemagne? by James Edwards I wrote last month that it is my sincere hope that Donald Trump can channel his inner Charlemagne should he win the White House. I handed the show over to my co-hosts during the second hour and took pictures with a few fans who had been patiently waiting for me. The last woman who approached me had driven in from Nashville and remarked that she, too, was a Southern Baptist who agreed with me on the situation plaguing our church. I believe that I gave her comfort by assuring her that Trump was going to win Tennessee and carry the evangelical demographic throughout Dixie. After a short exchange I autographed her campaign sign and encouraged her to pray that Trump becomes our next Charlemagne. Since everything I say is amplified by the media, the degenerate “reporters” latched on to that line in hopes that they could somehow make it look foolish. James Edwards usually doesn’t like being so close to members of the mainstream press who describe him as a hate-monger instead of a “pro-white” anti-gay who “stands for the Dispossessed Majority,” but seemed to enjoy the view anyway. Edwards graciously autographed a campaign sign for an unidentified Southern Baptist woman who shared his worldview, then “encouraged her to pray that Trump becomes our next Charlemagne.” And from the Washington Post: Donald Trump Jr. didn’t skip a beat when a white nationalist radio host likened Trump Sr. to the Holy Roman Emperor who tried to drive Muslims out of Europe. “I hope your father becomes the next Charlemagne after he becomes the next president of the United States,” said James Edwards. When Edwards then complained about political correctness, Trump Jr. jumped right into the conversation. Well, I guarantee you that there are people in Belgium this week who are also praying for the next Charlemagne, or Martel, or Sobieski to emerge and serve as their avenger. charlemagne The fact of the matter is that Muslims are incompatible with Western Civilization and Islam is incompatible with Christianity. What happened in Brussels is what has happened every time throughout history when disparate cultures occupy the same living space. The time has come for Europeans to rise up and protect their families.
