I mean, who wants a step-by-step plan to fail? Well, the way some folks act; you'd think that they were doing just that. Here's how their "disaster survival plan" goes: 1. Keep rose-colored glasses ON 2. When a crisis hits, "hope for the best" 3. Depend on the government to save you I mean, it seemed to work for folks who had to go dumpster diving just days after Superstorm Sandy, just to get something to eat! It's enough to make you shake your head in disbelief. I think you know as well as I do that kind of thinking isn't going to cut it in a real crisis. Because, just like the old saying goes... When we fail to plan, we plan to fail. Some people just can't grasp that things are ever going to go bad. It's almost like they can't read the writing on the wall. ISIS terrorists on our doorstep, a greedy government determined to create a permanent underclass of moochers, and corrupt politicians who just care about staying in power and not much else. Luckily, there's a way to protect yourself and your family, but only if you have the #1 item to hoard before a disaster... So you won't be left begging for government scraps inside a dreaded FEMA camp like folks after Katrina, dumpster diving for a moldy piece of bread like New Yorkers after Superstorm Sandy, or worried about fending off looters like we saw in Baltimore... just to get something to eat.
