Women who have illegal abortions should be punished, Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump said on Wednesday. Trump was asked by MSNBC’s Chris Matthews to define his “pro-life” stance and assertions that abortion should be banned. “Do you believe in punishment for abortion – yes or no – as a principle?” asked Matthews, during the taping of a town hall event. “The answer is there has to be some form of punishment,” said Trump. “For the woman?” Matthews said. “Yeah, there has to be some form,” Trump replied. “Ten cents, 10 years, what?” Matthews asked again, pressing. “That I don’t know,” said Trump. In a 1999 interview, Trump described himself as “pro-choice in every respect”, and also said he would not “ban abortion” if he was ever elected president. But his position as a presidential candidate has changed starkly. Trump later tried to clarify his position in a statement, but stopped short of retracting his view stated on MSNBC that women should be punished. However, Trump seemed to acknowledge that the establishment of any anti-abortion law would fall to Congress or state legislatures. “If Congress were to pass legislation making abortion illegal and the federal courts upheld this legislation, or any state were permitted to ban abortion under state and federal law, the doctor or any other person performing this illegal act upon a woman would be held legally responsible, not the woman. The woman is a victim in this case as is the life in her womb. My position has not changed – like Ronald Reagan, I am pro-life with exceptions,” the statement said. Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton called the comments “horrific and telling”. Planned Parenthood Action Fund, the political arm of America’s best-known abortion provider, said the statements were tantamount to an incitement of violence. The Susan B Anthony List, an anti-abortion group, attempted to clarify the position of the anti-abortion lobby, calling Trump a “convert” to the movement. “[Let] us be clear: punishment is solely for the abortionist who profits off of the destruction of one life and the grave wounding of another,” said president Marjorie Dannenfelser in a statement. The exchange prompted immediate questions for other Republican candidates about how they would enforce an “abortion ban”. Ohio governor and Republican nominee hopeful John Kasich told Chuck Todd the same afternoon that punishing women who have illegal abortions, in the hypothetical situation that there were a ban, was not “an appropriate response”. We may not agree on abortion but we'd have to agree that Trump's response was beyond amateurish ... could it be that Trump got a message from the real power ? Maybe the real power has instructed the Donald to ease himself out of the contest without declaring his family has been threatened like Perot's ... just maybe.
Rethink it.... To my knowledge Trump is the ONLY one that has repeated over and over that ...Christianity is under siege worldwide... None of the other politicians nor the media will touch that with a ten foot pole.

I've witnessed these vermin manipulate the people of our country my entire lifetime. I've seen enough of their perpetual antics and propaganda. All I will say in their favor is that they're very good at being terrible.
Case in point... Trump ad libs a lot of flubs that are off base. However now and again he inserts some small item that no one questions, or complains about etc. Case in point, his assertions about siege on Christianity has brought zero comments, ridicule or otherwise. Another...One night he stated why we are in Afghanistan, something the government nor anyone else will talk about. From the nay sayers and media, not a whisper, total silence. Trump is not stupid.
I have never accused him of that problem.
Trump won't be allowed to succeed. I believe he could be one of US. But if he does expose the bastards that are playing the part of his loyal competition then he will open a lot of before the end of America in real terms that everyone who's been sleeping can understand. Either way the country is in for a rude collapse. It is inevitable. IMO
When I was a very much younger person I had a hard time believing that our country was hated by much of the world, now I have no doubt and understand so well why that's true.
I knew something was wrong when I wasn't moved seeing Nixon resign.

I voted once in a national election and that was for Nixon in 1972. Never again since. After Ruby Ridge and WACO the FEDS became an enemy that I had ignored up until that point. By the way, my primary reason for expatriating and withdrawing myself from the generally accepted system was because I determined that I couldn't trust man and decided to absolutely trust God. That's it.
