War, War, War See other War, War, War Articles Title: Endless War in Syria Endless War in Syria by Stephen Lendman Peace talks are a sham. All parties involved know it but persist in the charade going nowhere. Assad is combatting US/Saudi supported terrorists, blamed for not surrendering to their demands, for unwillingness to let Syria become another US vassal state. Washington wants war, not peace. The proof is in the pudding, as the saying goes. All US- instigated post-9/11 wars rage endlessly, resolution nowhere in sight. Naked US aggression is responsible for raping one country after another. Mass slaughter and destruction are US specialties, civilians considered legitimate targets. Imperial priorities take precedence over rule of law principles. Vladimir Putin is the world’s only hope to save humanity from another world war, perhaps ending all future ones if nuclear weapons are used. It’s a terrifying possibility if Hillary Clinton succeeds Obama, an over-the-top neocon hawk, a militant Russian hater. She earlier compared Putin to Hitler at a private fundraiser. A previous article said a new chapter in East/West relations began last September. Putin’s anti- terrorism mission in Syria changed Middle East geopolitics decisively. He seized the moral, ethical and legal high ground, gained the initiative from Washington, Russia the only major power waging war on terrorism. America supports the monster it created. Its claim about wanting world peace is pure rubbish. Pentagon and CIS operatives continue recruiting, arming, funding, training and directing terrorist fighters. According to Russia’s Defense Ministry spokesman General Igor Konashenkov, they’re pouring into Syria daily, Turkey complicit in facilitating cross-border passage, providing arms, munitions and other military support - Washington doing the same thing. According to London-based IHS Jane’s 360 Defence, it’s supplying thousands of tons of weapons and munitions to terrorist groups in Syria - clear proof Obama wants war, not peace. All anti-government elements operating in Syria are terrorists, supported by Washington and its rogue allies - the same scenario playing out in Iraq, Libya, increasingly in central Asia, ahead likely in Russia, China and Iran, maybe US-supported ISIS fighters showing up in Venezuela, as well as other Latin and Central American countries. America is the greatest threat to peace in world history. Its rage to dominate assures endless wars. Putin is humanity’s only chance to prevent potentially life-ending global war.
