Her fellow Iowa senator, Chuck Grassley, said the case “has shed light on the breakdown between the federal government and state and locals.” However, also present at the congressional hearing was Bishop Minerva G. Carcaño, the immigration spokesperson for the United Methodist Church, who spoke out against Root, claiming it was “unjust” to take “isolated, certainly very tragic incidents” to “implicate” millions of illegals. But in response, Rep. Raul Labrador (R-Idaho) said her “disgusting” statement showed “no consideration” for Root’s pain. Illegal aliens are the only residents who are completely immune to punishment for violating the law. Must be great to be above the law, while being protected by the same government who refuses to enforce it when it come to illegal aliens. No wonder there are 20 million and counting of them here. U.S. Constitution - Article IV, Section 4: NO BORDERS + NO LAWS = NO COUNTRY
