The full-court press to stymie 9/11 truth

Posted on April 25, 2016 by Bob Livingston

“For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith…” I Timothy 6:10 (ESV)

Why are we talking about 9/11 almost 15 years after the fact? Because the moneyed elites and globalists who stalk the halls of power continue to provide cover for the financial and logistical backers of the attacks and have great financial interest in keeping the truth suppressed.

President Barack Obama and most in congress – particularly the Republicans — continue to stymie efforts by the families of victims to sue the Saudi Arabian government. Those families have for years been fighting to sue the Saudis for their role in the events of 9/11. And for many of them, it is not about the money as much as it is getting to the truth.

The effort to run cover for the Saudi – and Israeli and Turkish and Egyptian and Pakistani and U.S., as former FBI translator-turned-whistleblower Sibel Edmonds has revealed – complicity in the attacks began immediately by the George W. Bush crime cabal. The 9/11 Commission report was a complete whitewash, as Commission Co-Chairman Senator Bob Graham has said repeatedly.

“The Saudi government without question was supporting the hijackers who lived in San Diego…. You can’t have 19 people living in the United States for, in some cases, almost two years, taking flight lessons and other preparations, without someone paying for it. But I think it goes much broader than that. The agencies from CIA and FBI have suppressed that information so American people don’t have the facts,” Graham said.

And with the “facts” being suppressed, 9/11 was used as a pretense to get America into several wars that destroyed countries that did not take part in the attacks and have cost the U.S. trillions of dollars and tens of thousands of military casualties – plus millions of killed and displaced Middle Eastern and African people. And those wars continue to this day. Meanwhile, the nations that facilitated and funded the attacks are called our allies and rewarded with fat contracts, military protection and shielded from liability.

There are 28 redacted pages from the report that contain evidence of complicity in the attacks by the Saudis and other governments. Those pages are only available for viewing by members of congress who must sign in to view them in a small, private room after first signing a non-disclosure agreement. Few congressmen have gone to the trouble.

Those who have seen them and spoken about them publicly claim to have been shaken to the core by the information those pages contain. One of them is Representative Thomas Massie (R-Ky.):

As I read it, and we all had our own experience, I had to stop every couple of pages and just sort of try to absorb and try to rearrange my understanding of history. “It challenges you to re-think everything. I think the whole country needs to go through that.

Obama has threatened to veto legislation to unseal the documents if it passes. He is said to fear that if U.S. citizens are allowed to sue other governments then that would open up the U.S. to lawsuits by people from other countries. Given the reign of terror the U.S. is inflicting on so many countries — from drone strikes to outright military incursions — that’s probably a real possibility.

But passage seems unlikely. The Hill reported that establishment darling and neocon House Speaker Paul Ryan said last week that the House should take a careful look at controversial legislation that would allow 9/11 victims to sue the Saudi Arabian government for any role it might have played in the terrorist attacks.

“I think we need to look at it,” Ryan told reporters at a news conference. “I think we need to review it to make sure we are not making mistakes with our allies and that we’re not catching people in this that shouldn’t be caught up in this.”

That way, lawmakers can ensure the U.S. government is not jeopardizing its relationship with an important ally, he said.

As a recent “60-Minutes” report on the redacted pages tells us, the Saudi role in the attacks has been “soft-pedaled” to protect America’s delicate alliance with the Saudis. And the New York Post goes further, stating:

Actually, the kingdom’s involvement was deliberately covered up at the highest levels of our government. And the coverup goes beyond locking up 28 pages of the Saudi report in a vault in the US Capitol basement. Investigations were throttled. Co-conspirators were let off the hook.

Case agents I’ve interviewed at the Joint Terrorism Task Forces in Washington and San Diego, the forward operating base for some of the Saudi hijackers, as well as detectives at the Fairfax County (Va.) Police Department who also investigated several 9/11 leads, say virtually every road led back to the Saudi Embassy in Washington, as well as the Saudi Consulate in Los Angeles.

Yet time and time again, they were called off from pursuing leads. A common excuse was “diplomatic immunity.”

Those sources say the pages missing from the 9/11 congressional inquiry report — which comprise the entire final chapter dealing with “foreign support for the September 11 hijackers” — details “incontrovertible evidence” gathered from both CIA and FBI case files of official Saudi assistance for at least two of the Saudi hijackers who settled in San Diego.

Included in the assistance provided was a $130,000 transfer from then-Saudi Ambassador Prince Bandar’s family checking account to the handler of one of the 9/11 hijackers days before the attack.

This is our “important ally.” To understand their “importance” one must go back to the Arab oil embargo of 1973. To ensure the free flow of cheap oil after the embargo was ended, the U.S. government and multinational corporations made a deal with the devil. They agreed to build up the Saudi infrastructure – at a huge profit — in exchange for cheap oil and a promise to peg oil to the U.S. dollar.

Since then, corporations like Halliburton, Bechtel, Brown & Root, MAIN and globalist banksters through the World Bank have made trillions of dollars through Saudi contracts and continue to profit from them. The Saudis also buy billions of dollars of U.S. arms and weapons. This is all documented in John Perkins’ book, “Confessions of an Economic Hit Man.”

Never mind that this country — our Saudi Arabian “ally” — is a totalitarian regime and one of the greatest human rights abusers on the planet, and a direct funder of terror attacks.

The Saudi government beheads people at the rate of one every two days for such “crimes” as homosexuality, adultery, witchcraft, apostasy, false prophecy, blasphemy, drug use and sorcery, as well for murder, rape and robbery. It also treats women like chattel.

The Saudis – along with several other of our Middle Eastern “allies” – fund and equip al-Qaida and ISIS and are doing our dirty work in the attempt to overthrow Bashar Assad in Syria and undermine the Iranian government – countries who have not attacked us despite our government’s belligerent actions toward them.

Additionally, Saudi Arabia intentionally manipulated oil prices in order to drive U.S. oil producers out of business, costing U.S. workers jobs and ruining local and state economies.

Last week, like the good puppet he is and like presidential puppets before him, Obama made a pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia to smooth over relations. We are dutifully told by CNN that Obama “really cleared the air” with King Salman, who would not even deign to meet Obama at the airport.

Which gets us to another portion of Saudi Arabia’s “importance” as an “ally.” It buys millions of dollars of positive media coverage (see here and here) and U.S. congressmen and former congressmen.

The Saudis may be “key allies” of the corporatocracy and the elected class, but they have proven themselves to be enemies of the American people and of liberty. And any in the elected class who side with the Saudis against Americans are likewise enemies of the American people.

Government, corporatists and banksters always profit from war. But the people and liberty suffer.

When will American people realize that the FEDS are public enemy #1 ? These fucktards have had 15 years to "look at it" ! The bombers, whoever they are - ARE NOT OUR ALLIES even though they may have an all too cozy relationship with D.C. and Tel Aviv !

Fuck D.C.

The 28 pages are a distraction from the real 911 truth that involves Israel and controlled demolition. The Saudis work for Israel and Washington. The legislation also involves a section that will allow lawsuits against Saudi Arabia which is not needed. If people knew the real truth, they would demand military action against them and maybe even Israel. There are so many Christians who worship Israel that we might suffer a national convulsion with respect to the Jues.

This, unfortunately, is true. I work with a girl whose Grandma passed away last year. Grandma had an American and Israeli flag waving in front of where she lived. I never said anything to her about it. But you see the point. Grandma was seriously deluded. ;)
