Her campaign is acting right now to smear the billionaire businessman with nasty TV attack ads. Hillary has to drag this election into the gutter with personal attacks because her record on issues and disapproval numbers with the electorate are abysmal. Politico reports: “Hillary Clinton’s biggest super PAC has already reserved $70 million in TV ads after this summer’s conventions in battleground states, but the group is preparing for an even earlier assault on Donald Trump — possibly while he is still busy battling his fellow Republicans to secure his party’s nomination. Guy Cecil, chief strategist for the pro-Clinton super PAC, Priorities USA Action, said he watched for months as Republicans let Trump carve out his place within the Republican Party relatively unimpeded. He has no plans to allow for a general election repeat. “We learned that you can’t wait until the last minute to go after Trump,” Cecil told POLITICO in a wide-ranging interview.” As Secretary of State, Hillary championed the war in Libya which ousted Muammar Gaddafi, creating a vacuum filled with terrorists. Allowing jihadists to gain a foothold in Libya lit the match which blew up the powder keg on September 11, 2012 when terrorists murdered four Americans in an attack at our consulate in Benghazi. Hillary and Obama proceeded to lie about the causes of the attack, blaming it on a YouTube video in order to preserve their political prospects. And Hillary also defended Obama’s withdrawal from Iraq which gave rise to ISIS. The Washington Free Beacon reports: “Clinton emerged as one of the top supporters of the withdrawal and defended the administration’s failure to secure a status of forces agreement, which would have kept several thousand U.S. troops in the war-torn country and potentially prevented extremist terror groups from resurging in Iraq, according to a Washington Free Beacon review of the likely presidential candidate’s past statements and interviews. Clinton touted the United States’ commitment to Iraq in 2011 and said the Obama administration has “a plan in place” to ensure Iraq’s security. “Are the Iraqis all going to get along with each other for the foreseeable future?” Clinton wondered in one 2011 interview. “Well, let’s find out.” Clinton went on to claim in a separate 2011 interview with CNN that “we have a lot of presence in that region.” She added that countries such as Iran should not “miscalculate about our continuing commitment to and with the Iraqis going forward.” Allowing the murderous terrorist regime to strengthen in Iraq and Syria has proved deadly for the West. In November, they attacked Paris, killing over 120 innocent citizens. And just last week, ISIS staged coordinated bombings in Brussels and murdered over 30 civilians. Hillary’s record is littered with failure, so her campaign and affiliated Super PACS must unleash scorched earth attacks to win. But Trump has surprised pundits by gaining momentum on national security issues. He proposed a temporary moratorium on non U.S. citizen immigration into the United States after it was discovered at least one of the Paris attackers came into France through the refugee program. And during an interview in January, Trump noted that Brussels was overrun with dangerous migrants from the Middle East and that Belgium was asking for trouble with its open borders policy. Unfortunately, tragedy proved Trump as spot-on. Meanwhile, Hillary still endorses Obama’s Syrian refugee program – which even the FBI recognizes how impossible it will be to verify every refugee seeking asylum in the U.S. The fall campaign is shaping up to be a brutal affair where the Clinton’s tried and true strategy to destroy their opposition will be back in business.
